If I could change one thing in the world, I would choose to change the very thought process involved in the making of terrorists. I say thought process because its the thought process that is more dangerous than the actual terrorist. The thoughts imparted to young children in some madrassas (Islamic religious schools) is responsible for making a human being into something that doesn't even remotely resemble a human (in terms of the justification of the crime, the cold bloodedness and apparent lack of remorse to it all).

Imagine, how a terrorist goes about his/her job. They go about making bombs, for example, and how? They pack the bombs with ball bearings, nuts and bolts, and other shrapnel - why? Just so that it kills more human beings and does more physical damage to them. How cruel and inhuman is that? Just think about that. Someone actually planning the bomb, knowing full well what it could do to a child, a woman, thousands of innocents.

That's precisely why I would seek to change the thought process that goes into the making of a terrorist. I know its not practical and its not going to be a reality. But, how I wish that could be done!!
