If you had a choice to relocate, where would you relocate to and Why?
68re.where would i relocate to and why.
After another dreary morning here in Scarborough/uk i came straight home and made myself a piping hot mug of coffee. Then i logged on to the hubs and began to browse. This question leapt out at me,i think it was tailor made for a cold, miserable lass like myself.
I woke up early shivering under the duvet and leapt out of bed to retrieve my fluffy dressing gown.Sliding in to my bright pink slippers i pounded down stairs to turn the heating on full.On my way i tripped over one of my many cats and inwardly cursed at the injustice of my life.Still moaning and cussing i tried to make some breakfast but my hands had gone numb and i kept dropping things.Instead i opted for my usual coffee and an early morning ciggie(i know it's bad for me so no lectures ok lol).
Finally seated in front of my gas fire stroking my lovely dogs i allowed my self to dream of sunnier climates and of frolicking on the beach in my bikini(it would make a change from my wellies).
Broken from my dreams by my teen age daughter,i donned my many jackets(yes i did say jackets, well this is England you know) put the leads on the dogs and off we set.I always drive my lass to school then procede on to the dog walk.Daughter deposited safely Spot,Ben(doggies) and me joined our other doggie friends on our morning adventure. It was hell on earth folks.
Thick fog layered the sky and i resembled a dragon blowing smoke from my nostrils.Little drops of dew(i'm being polite now by not using the real word lol) dripped rythmically off my nose.My feet throbbed with the cold and my fingers were frozen solid like ice cubes.Oh what fun i was having(not),how i love to freeze my butt off every day of the week.
Torture over i stomped moodily back to the car dragging the dogs with me.It took me an eternity to put my key in the ignition thanks to frost bite setting in(ok,so it wasn't that bad but it really was cold lol).
Since you know what i did when i arrived back home i will tell you now of where i would relocate to.I think you will know why by now.Picture a tropical beach, waves lapping softly against the shore.Children splashing in the water laughing freely.
My daughter and i laying on a sun lounger sipping cocktails, our eyes shielded with massive shades.Sexy, toned, young men strolling past gazing at my beauty(ahh, come on this is my hub you know lol).
The sun shining down on me keeping me warm and content and my little doggies swimming in their own personal pool(well i couldnt leave them behind could i).
Have you guessed where yet?The Bahamas of course, beats blooming ,cold, wet and miserable England any day.So all i need now is a millionaire to take a shine to me and take me away from all of this(so if there are any reading this,Hint,Hint).Believe me i could be packed in an hour.

I always remember sitting on a beach in Thailand with white sand as soft as talcum powder, under a hot sun in a perfectly blue sky, with overhanging palm trees and views to a rocky coastline in the distance. I said to a Thai person with me "You know for English people this is paradise"
What was they;re reply. "I no like, too hot"
I love you comments, its made me smile on yet another blooming freezing foggy day in scarborough uk.xx
Nice Bevy! You made me chuckle too. :)
Okay, I've lived at the beach, and it's nice, but I missed the season changes. So I'm back in VA, loving the seasons, even the cold winter; however I'm still not where I want to be...the mountains, my home. I talk often about the mountains because it's in my blood, and I'm going back for sure. Soon in fact. :)
i guess i would miss the seasons but perphaps if god could arrange for the cold ones not to las as long lolxxxx
I would choose the countryside of Portugal. Do-to-earth friendly people. Laid back rural lifestyle. I would be about 1 to 2 hours from Lisbon...in case I missed the city life!
i have been to Portugal and it is beautiful,i also love the contry side as its great for my doggies........i know though that i to would miss a slice of city life.....wouldnt it be nice though if we could all have a bit more sun.xx
