If you had only 3 days left to live, how would you spend that time?

Question from uber-hubber Patty Inglish, MS - What would you be doing if you had 3 days left to live? Well, for starters, if a Doctor told me I had three days left, first thing I'd do would be to shoot him in the face. What're they gonna do? Hang you? Inside of 3 days?

Seriously, though, good question, and I've been thinking about preparing my own Bucketlist. So, here it is.

Wall Street Charging Bull

You know, there are lotsa things to do in New York, for both visitors and New Yorkers, and even more nuttier things to do. There are some I've always wanted to do, but never quite worked up the courage to do it. Besides, most of them would likely end up with me getting a one-way ticket to Riker's. Or Bellevue. Well, at least I can write about it...

Most of you might be aware of the famous Charging Bull at Bowling Green Park near Wall Street, New York City. You can read more about the 7000 bronze sculpture and its significance on wikipedia. Point is, I want to climb up on it. Preferably wearing a red cape...

Second on my bucketlist would be a visit to the gold vault in the Federal Reserve Bank of New York. The NY Fed does allow visitors to tour the vault, five floors below ground, and accesible through a hollowed out steel cylinder. Point is, there's more gold in there than you'll ever see in one place in your lifetime. All I wanna do is hold one of those bars in my hand. You ever hold a gold bar in your hand?

Next on the bucketlist would be to enter the hot dog eating contest at Nathan's Famous in Coney Island. Every year, on the 4th of July, Coney Island comes alive with international visitors and crowds of New Yorkers gathering to watch contestants gulp down hundreds of dogs, buns and all. Its a spectacle, and a tourist attraction in its own right. But entering the contest is another thing altogether. Could be fun, right?

Other than this, I really don't have anything much on my plate. But, on second thoughts, this is a rather morbid subject, and I'd be much happier if I got to do all these things, and not have to kick the bucket. If you have your own bucketlist, I'd love to hear about it.

Interesting question. I always wondered where that bull was. I think I would like to do the same as you...climb up that bull. I bet it would be an awesome site.
