Ike is the third major hurricane of the 2008 Atlantic hurricane season. It started as a tropical disturbance near Africa and went on to develop to a category 4 hurricane. The size of it is immense, double the size of the Hurricane Katrina.

Ike has so far left near 100 deaths in its trail and it still continues to do damage. Ike damage has been very large and mostly it's present in the Haiti area. Ike videos show the intensity of the hurricane, it's scary.

The future doesn't look too bright with all the global warming making this kind of storm more likely to happen more often. I must remind you of all the weather problems that happened in this year already and Ike damage is just a peak. Let's hope it gets better.
