I'm What They Call A Prodigy
66OK, so I'm not one of those twelve year old physicist types that is entering college as a double major, but by HubPages.com's standards, I am now a full fledged prodigy!
According to HupPages "Help" page, a so-called prodigy is a Hubber who has published less than 19 Hubs and has a Hubscore of 75 or higher. Well, I have now posted just ten Hubs and have reached a Hubscore of 76! Of course, this could go down at any time, but lets not let that happen!
Here's how I did it...
First, I picked a topic I knew a lot about and had some experience with. In my case it was Travel. I recently drove out west with my girlfriend to move to Billings, MT. Along the way, we made some pit stops at some incredible places. I decided it was worth sharing, and people seemed to dig it. Part 1, Part 2, Part 3, Travel On a Budget
Then, I picked something to write about that tons of people are interested in, American Idol. I am not a fan of the show, but I knew if I wrote about it, people would read it...and they did. Another good idea to draw traffic is to read through HubPages Q&A and pick a question that you feel comfortable writing about. Answer the question, and you are guaranteed to have at least the person who asked the question stopping by your Hub! Interview Tips
I also spend time sharing my Hubs via Facebook, Digg, StumbleUpon, and Myspace. It helps drive traffic to each Hub, and then hopefully the reader will be interested enough to read additional Hubs. It is not a bad idea to get the link to your Hub and send out an email to some friends and family!
Generally, I find that as long as the content is original and opinionated, people will read, and comment.

That is so amazing! I am a Prodigy as well!
Congratulations! We are awesome together! What was your strategy?
You are a publishing maniac. Nice job!
you must be either extremely naive or just plain stupid to think that.
