I'm a fat idiot????
64When I saw "You are a Fat Idiot," I about fell over...
First off, calling someone names doesn't help them lose weight.
I come from a family of mixed body weights and metabolisms, so every diet ever has been tried by someone in my family...except the latest one being advertised. Some worked for some family members, others that didn't work for some, worked for others. This is partially why it burns my ass to see something so crass--then to see a ton of people promoting it.
Second, some of the information on that site appeared to be bogus to me.
Low fat diets DO work for some.
Low carb diets DO work for others.
Lack of exercise DOES cause weight gain for most human beings.
"You are a Fat Idiot" left my jaw hanging after I read it. All my life staying small to medium has been a struggle, and I'm here to tell you that NO DIET WORKS FOR EVERYONE.
Wanna know what works for me?
I use a modified version of Atkins, target my exercising, and don't sweat the small stuff...stress will keep weight on a person, particularly around the middle.
Shannon's Diet & Exercise Plan
1. ALWAYS drink 4-6 oz. of white grapefruit juice (unsweetened) at least 5-10 minutes BEFORE eating anything--even a snack. What this does is shrinks the stomach to hold less food and provides the body with a natural fat burner.
2. CUT most sugar and carbs for 12 DAYS. This is not only a chemical process, but a mental one, as you will see. The chemical process is MANDATORY for weight loss, so if you "cheat" even a little, it will BLOW ALL YOUR HARD WORK!!
3. ENJOY 2 days following the 12 of dieting eating whatever you want--IN MODERATION!! Believe me, after you see a pants-size drop in those 12 days, believe me, you won't want to eat it all back on during your 2 day rewards period.
4. EXERCISE doesn't have to be a 20 minute to 2 hour workout everyday, or even any day. SET your own pace for your target areas. Example, my target area is my waist, so when starting, I do as many crunches and reverse crunches (at my own convenience, usually at rising and before hitting the sheets at night) as my body can handle without straining. THE NEXT DAY ADD ONE-FIVE REPS OF EACH EXERCISE IN YOUR REGIMEN and continue to add each day until you are back in shape and are where you feel you need to be.
5. SNACKING doesn't have to mean a cookie or something else that is going to stick to your ribs permanently. The need for a snack is to curb the hungries, NOT satisfy a craving!!! Instead of taking in a ton of sugar & carbs to satisfy the hungries, pour a 4-6 oz. glass of white grapefruit juice, drink it, wait 5 minutes then drink a glass of 2% or skim milk. You'll be amazed when you are no longer hungry.
6. YOU HAVE TO WANT TO LOSE WEIGHT FOR YOURSELF! If someone else is pressuring you to lose weight, and you are happy with your current weight, don't diet. If you don't want it, you are wasting your time.
This diet works for people with slow metabolisms that feel like they are starving if they don't get some PROTEIN in their daily diets. This diet is NOT RECOMMENDED for people with HIGH CHOLESTEROL or HEART ABNORMALITIES.
Remember 12 days on the diet, 2 days off, then 12 days back on, then 2 more days off. REPEAT this cycle until YOU ARE HAPPY WITH YOU.
I lost 33 pounds in 28 days on this diet & exercise regimen, then kept it off for 7 years.
Good luck, and don't let some money-grubbing scum call you a "Fat Idiot" then take your money too. The info I just gave you WORKS and it's FREE.
