Do you realize how important language is? Without language you would have to talk to one another by means of signs. If you had a headache and you wanted to tell your mother about it, you would have to use signs, such as pointing to your head, your temples, or your eyes. You mother would not be able to tell at once if you meant you had a headache or your eyes hurt you.

By means of language you can tell one another what you see and what you think. Your experiences can be shared with your fellow men. You become more truly a part of the great brotherhood of men.

Language is a glorious gift from above. Language opens your mind and leads you into a magic world of dreams and fancies. By means of words you can see the rain fall in slanting, silver lines; you look afar and see the misty mountaintops of early morning; you thrill to the burning colors of a dazzling sunset.

Look upon language, therefore, with respect. We must learn how to us language it properly. Try your best to gain mastery over words because words lead to knowledge and power. We must be responsible and be extra careful on what we say and how we say them. By means of language you develop yourself, your mind, and your personality.
