THe first and most important tips of all is to eat more greens like fruits and vegetables. Studies by Harvard Public School of Health have found that people who eat 5 to 13 servings of vegetables a day are more likely to maintain a healthy body weight, are more energetic, lower blood pressure, lower cholesterol level and a healthier digestive system. So, eat greens everyday will ensure a better overall health.

Tip #2 : Drink Plenty of Water

 The second tip is to have the habit of drinking plenty of water everyday. When you drink enough water, it can prevent your body from dehydration. Water also helps rid your body of toxin build-ups and also helps your skin to look better. Studies have shown that water can in fact help lose weight too. The studies found that dieters who replaced sugary drinks with water shed an additional five pounds of weight a year. As such, drinking plenty of water is recommended. It is widely recommended that drinking of at least 8 glasses of water each day ensures a healthy body.

Tip #3 : Maintain A Healthy Diet

 Maintaining a health diet is very important to stay healthy. You should get a good dietary information about the foods that you eat each day so as you do not get too many calories from unhealthy sources like fast foods, carbonated drinks, fatty meats and other unhealthy stuffs. Try to limit sugary foods and learn to just eat enough calories. In addition, limit also the intake of processed and salty foods as these have high sodium contents. So, keep track of what you eat can keep you healthy and at the same time help you obtaining your ideal weight.

Tip #4 : Have Enough Rest

 Having enough rest is also vital in preserving your great health. Adequate sleep of at least 6 to 8 hours a day is required to maitain a healthy life. Also, in the afternoon, a short nap can be great for rejuvenating your body. These naps, also known as power naps is a good substitute for coffee that keeps us going during the day. However, limit the afternoon snooze to 20 or 30 minutes a day so that it does not leave you feeling groggy or interfere with your sleep at night.

Tip #5 : Exercise

The final tip is to incorporate simple exercise moves into your everyday routine. Simple exercises like taking the stairs instead of the lift, or walking to the grocery store down the road to buy your stuffs instead of driving there can in fact, be great for your health. Studies have found that a 30 minutes walk a day is sufficient to help you lose weight. So, start incorporating simple exercises into your daily routine today!
