There is actually a thin line between love and lust.  Above and below this boundary are similar feelings and emotions, and parallel sensation and excitement.  You can identify that fluttering feeling in the stomach, for example, as falling in love only to discover later that it is simply physical attraction.

Talking to some friends and acquaintances, it seemed that they all have experienced common signs of someone falling in love. They had experienced thinking about the person more often or felt nervousness when their object of affection is around.  They experienced uneasiness with thoughts about the person and at the same time felt young, sexy and beautiful or handsome.  Some of them even had experienced looking at anything as positive or pleasant or delightful all the time; or felt like they were flying.

During conversations with a few male and female friends and acquaintances, women are most vocal about how they felt while the men talked more on the beauty and the body shape of women.  Only a few of the men talked about how they actually saw the face of their beloved in a glass of water, or identify them among those who wear eyeglasses, or who like to wear pink tees, for example.  Does this mean that women are disposed to misconceptions on being in love?  If this is true, you have got to consider, if you are a woman, the following points to determine if you are falling in love:

Despite your principles and beliefs in guarding yourself from being a prey in this game of love, you will find that the opposite is happening.  You will discover that you are totally deviating from the rules you follow about finding and falling in love.  Finding love becomes an extreme divergence from your established confidence and convictions.  You will be surprised with your transformation but still gladly accept possibilities whatever they may be.

You feel extraordinarily good.  You suddenly become stirred by music especially those about love.  You feel tender feelings.  Falling in love gives you extraordinary interest to do things and to hope at the same time.

Unconsciously, you let yourself be distracted with your pleasant thoughts about your love.  You fantasize and stare into space without noticing that time is passing by.  Your head on the clouds, you stare at people, places and things seeing your beloved’s face in them.

Nine times out of ten, you will refuse to accept that your object of affection is capable of hurting you, or is imperfect, too.  You will be unwilling to admit that you have forgotten about yourself and the liberties that are only yours.  Falling in love will make you a slave denying yourself the right to be extremely happy and content.

It can be true that these signs are very apparent with women falling in love but they do not exclude men.  Men also try to find love and eventually fall in love.  They may not be easy-to-read but they are also susceptible to these feelings and emotions involving love.  Therefore, they can also evaluate themselves using the said cues to learn if they are falling in love.
