In The Bible-Death
60
Death of the physical body means the soul is separated from the earthly vessel:
Genesis 3:19; I Corinthians 15:21:22 (Adam)
Ecclesiastes 8:8; Hebrews 9:27 (Happens to Everyone)
Ecclesiastes 9:10; I Timothy 6:7 (No more earthly possession or things to do)
Genesis 2:17; Romans 5:12 ( The consequence of sin)
Job 3:17-19 (Levels all ranks)
Deuteronomy 32:39; Job 14:5 (Ordered by God)
John 11:11 (Described as sleep)
Psalms 39:4; Psalms 39:13; Psalms 90:12 (Prepare for)
Hosea 13:14; I Corinthians 15:26 ( will finally be destroyed)
Romans 6:9; Revelation 1:8; II Timothy 1:10 (conquered by Christ)
Hebrews 2:15 (No fear for the believer)
John 9:4; Isaiah 38:18-20 (diligence and devotion)
Job 14:1-2; Psalms 90:9; I Peter 1:24 (is at hand)
Luke 20:36; Revelation 21:4 (never enters Heaven)
Spiritual death means the soul is separated from life in God:
Hebrews 6:1; Hebrews 9:14 (fruits are dead works)
Revelation 3:1-2 (is hypocrisy)
Ephesians 4:18 (alienation from God)
Ephesians 5:14; Ephesians 2:5; John 5:24-25; Romans 6:13 (banished by Christ)
Romans 8:6 (carnal mindedness)
Romans 5:15 (Consequence of the fall)
Ephesians 2:1; Colossians 2:13 (a walk in trespass and sin)
John 3:25; I John 5:12 (is spiritual ignorance)
I Timothy 5:6 (living in worldly pleasure)
Eternal death, the second death, is a forever, perpetual life away from God. Eternal condemnation:
Romans 6:16-21; Romans 8:13; James 1:15 (consequences of sin, wages of sin)
Revelation 2:11; Revelation 20:6 (has no hold upon the saints)
Daniel 12:2; John 5:29; Matthew 25:46; Luke 16:23-26 (resurrection to eternal condemnation, eternal torment)
Matthew 24:41-46; Romans 1:32 (portion of the wicked)
John 3:16; John 8:51; Acts 4:12 (only escape is Jesus Christ)
II Thessalonians 1:9; Matthew 25:41; Revelation 19:20; Revelation 21:8; Matthew 25:30; Ii Peter 2:17 (banishment from God, society with the devil, lake of fire, unrelieved darkeness)
Proverbs 14:12 (fruit of self-righteousness)
James 5:20 (saints should strive to save sinners)
Matthew 10:28; James 4:12; Matthew 25:31-41; II Thessalonians 1:7-8 (divine punishment)
After death there are two alternatives heaven and hell. Peac and pure joy with the Lord or eternal fire in hell with the devil. I pray fervently for the conviction of hearts and the salvation of souls. Amen
