Yes,The crowd always has the most to say ,Even though the ref set the rules in the game the crowd make some of the decisons in a game .The crowd also let the players know if the ref's even called a bad play.Today this continues everywhere the players are influenced by the crowd this could be good or bad it depends on who's winning or losing. In a basketball game the pressure is on an if the refs don't make a good choice with their players the crowd will be letting him know about it.The crowd in a game can be really tough at some games things get so bad that people will come down an try to fight the refs,so they have alot of work on their hands ,even though it may seem like they just run back an forth they are really taking controll of their atmosphere.Every game needs a ref .The crowd sometime even get mad at ref's an they get hit with things from the crowd. To me being a referee can be the greatest experience because you get to meet an talk with diffrent players or it can be the worst experience because the crowd can be so tough.Sometimes referees get in trouble beecause they get too upset and they shouldn't it's all about self control
