Love comes in many different shapes, sizes and dimensions.

I think Hollywood gives us some excellent examples of different age differences that some of us might consider unconventional.

Now, normally, I think what you will find is that in a relationship, the man will be the same age or up to 10 years older than the female. However, we have found Hollywood couples like Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher who dare to defy the convention. Demi Moore being 16 years older than her boyfriend Ashton.

There is also the example of Woody Allen and his wife Soon-Yi Previn. Soon Yi was previously his adopted daughter. Woody Allen is 45 years older than she is.

Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore are truly the oddity though, because typically, you will find that the man is older than the woman (no matter by how much). For example, Anna Nicole Smith was 62 years younger than her husband J. Howard Marshall II. Many people believe she married him for money, but she insisted that the love was there.

So, when it comes to love, remember that age is nothing but a number!

I agree that in love age is nothing but a number as long as both partners are atleast 18, you know, for the same reasons kids under 18 are not eligible to vote. (Knowing whether my liking a girl is love or just I am being a fan of her for any of her traits and habits requires some life experience)

P.S. If any under-18 sees this and feels offended, please know that no offense was intended. I just meant that just enjoy your teenage and, well, just keep rocking!

I feel Just because of an age difference this should be no restriction for a couple who really love each other.

The issue of age is just a social construct but not many people dare defy the status quo that's why the "right age", the "right height", the "right income" etc.  are still mainstream. Things are changing. More and more, people are getting out the box. Great hub dutch84!

franciaonline has it right. Every relationship is unique. There are no "correct" standards.
