Incessant Ramblings of a Restless Mind
63What's wrong with Britney?!
...a comprehensive analysis...
First of all, I would like to state for the record, that depending on who you are and where you're from, there may be nothing wrong with Britney, or there may be something VERY wrong with Britney...
With that being said,...
WHAT'S WRONG WITH BRITNEY?!!!
Let's look at the facts...
As a child, her parents sent her off to the hands of Mickey Mouse to be one of his minions...
Nothing wrong with that...after all, Justin Timberlake and Christina Aguilera survived it...
Then they dolled her up for her career as a teen pop icon...
"hey y'all"
Again, something her fellow Mickey Mousers were able to survive...
So, where did Britney (where Christina went on to make more "mature" sounding ballads and Justin got some hot Cameron Di-ass) go wrong?
What brought her here:

My theory...
I think Britney just wasn't ready. Perhaps her parents didn't equip her with the proper "filter mechanisms"...I dunno...
I think that she was exposed to an environment full of people whose bodies have obviously built up a tolerance (perhaps even an immunity) to da CRAZY....
You ever go drinking with someone who can down like 10 beers and not even look tipsy when you only drink one and you're seeing stars?...and they don't even notice that you're falling out so they keep offering you some more and you just keep taking....
Some people set restrictions on these things...they know how much they can handle from prior experiences so they try to control themselves when they go out...especially around people they are not familiar with...then there are the newbies...
The veterans sometimes let the newbies get out of control in the hopes that they will end up learning from their mistakes...and sometimes they do...
But sometimes...it gets ugly...
Sometimes...the newbies never quite get their barings straight...Sometimes...they "pull a Britney".
(Note: I wouldn't be surprised if "pulling a Britney" becomes a part of some unsensitive houligan vernacular. *shrug*...it happens)
Yea...I think that's what they did to her...
Her family didn't know what they were setting her up for...
I could say more...
...but these are the thoughts that I had just now, and I wanted to share.
the end...for now.
P.S. Dear neurologists of America...check her frontal lobes!...and tell 'em Dutch sent ya!

I am afraid I hold most “Pop Stars” in rather low esteem. It is not that they lack skill, talent or ability. To the contrary, many are exceptional in that way, but not that exceptional. The “entertainment” industry has turned what was once an art form into a sleazy commodity with all the attendant sycophants, groupies and wannabe’s. The highly visible misadventures of celebrities provide endless distractions from matters of very real and urgent importance as well as offering less than ideal examples for their adoring fans, which generally seem to be young, impressionable children. There is no longer any effort to pretend that the love of music or performance is the main motive. It’s all bout gittin’ paid. It is actually no wonder that so many become delusional, psychotic or wind up resorting to drugs and alcohol. Much the same can be said of many professional athletes who think only of the fame and fortune they might achieve rather than the love of the sport that may have motivated them in their youth. Like much in the world today, corporate greed has turned these activities into shallow, profit driven mockeries of what where once admirable and worthwhile pursuits. IMHO.
