On May 2, some 130 million U.S. families and individuals will be getting income tax rebate checks from the IRS.
Here you will find answers to when you'll be receiving your income tax rebate check, as well as resources from the IRS to help you understand the tax rebate.
Income Tax Rebate checks either direct deposit or mailings will be made according to the last two digits of your Social Security numbers as follows:
Direct Deposit: Depending on the last two numbers of your Social Security Number, your rebate should be deposited by:
00-20: May 2
21-75: May 9
76-99: May 16
By Mail:Depending on the last two numbers of your Social Security Number, your rebate check should be mailed by:
00-09: May 16
10-18: May 23
19-25: May 30
26-38: June 6
39-51: June 13
52-63: June 20
64-75: June 27
76-87: July 4
88-99: July 11
How Much Will You Get?
Persons who owe no income taxes, but earned at least $3,000 in income from Social Security and veterans disability will get rebate checks of $300 for individuals and $600 for couples.

I beleive the 2008 Income Tax Rebate is sent to the same address you receive your tax returns this year.
i only got 600 from the rebate check, when its suppose to be 900. Where the other 300?
Thanks for posting this. I was able to find it on the IRS website by doing a search on Google, but this will make it a lot easier for people.
Here's what I plan to do with my tax rebate. I own a home business, and I plan on investing further in it to make sure it keeps putting dinner on the table! I've been able to work from home successfully for over a year now, and even in this economy we're not struggling like so many families around us are. I'm a firm believer in making my money work for me!

The last two digit on my social is 27 but I have yet to receive it. It seems like that any and every one who don't need the money is getting theirs and the one who need their money has yet to receive their funds.
I agree - my account is on direct deposit and I have not seen my rebate ...
I guess it goes without saying about the trust we can place in our government. Oh well ...
I was wondering how much my rebate check will be? Its me, my husband and 2 children. I thought it would be $1800.00 (600.00 each for me and spouse and 300.00 each for my 2 childern). My husband said it's only gonna be $1200.00. Please let me know. Thanks

If you own monet for back child suppoert and thay took ur tax check will that also take you Rebate check that the goverment is sending out?
My check was due June 6. Its already July 6 and I still have not heard a word about it. How long are the rest of you waiting for overdue checks?
