Increase Blog traffic can be a difficult task if your doing it for free. Blog success doesn't come over night but it comes if you just stick it out and continue posting to your blog. I didn't believe this could happen and now just a few months later, we are having increased blog traffic on a daily basis. Increase your Blog Traffic from organic search's from Google and Yahoo is easy if you follow these six simple methods.

1. Social Book Marking - Use social bookmarking to post up your blog entries. Everytime your blog has a new post published, this creates a new uniqiue url. After you publish a new post, open your blog up in another window, click on the title of the new story and you will see in your browsers address bar a new unique url. Use this url and post it to the Social bookmarking sites. Do this every time a new story is published and you will see a steady increase of traffic. Use a free utility called Social Poster to submit to 160 sites for each post. This adds up and you will receive traffic and back links to your site. Insure you have Google analytics installed on your blog so you can track where your traffic is coming from and which tags are being clicked on the most.

2. Squidoo Pages - Building a Story or article about your niche using Squidoo pages. Google loves squidoo pages and you will be indexed quickly. Will building your page have links that point direct back to your blog.

3. Yahoo Buzz - Create a Profile at Yahoo Buzz and use keywords as your user name. Submit every Blog Post there and Yahoo's Spider will index your story giving you back links to your site which will increase your traffic

4. Knol Pages - Create Knol pages, is the same as the previous two, but Google owns this property and things can happen very fast here as well.

Tip: When create your story lines make sure your Title, the first paragraph and the tags match with the same keywords.. Make your stories keyword rich, but not spammy. And do your keyword research first, avoiding alot of competition, and in the long run you will have never ending traffic.

5. Footer Ads - Use a feature called slider ads. How this works is everytime a new visitor comes to your site, an ad will slide up from the footer, but only about a inch, so its not a pop up. People will notice this because its moving and read it right away. How it works is you create your ad and people in the ad network will have your ad on there site and its a shared traffic concept throughout the network but it works well and can be a very powerful way to increase traffic quickly.

6. How To Pages - Right stories about "How To". Just search in Google for the EHow website and create your own profile page. You can easily pick-up a quick hundred visitors doing this. You can also create How to stories there and people will then rate your story. In your profile page you can add your blog links and right up a good biography about yourself. People at EHow will vote or rate your story, because they get paid for doing this and you can rate there's in return. So you will get paid for writing "How to" stories and get Traffic Back to your Blog
