Increase page views to your Hub

As a new contributor to the Hub clan, I can only speculate at how one increases traffic to your hub. Here are my thoughts as the "new guy.":
1-Subscribe to other members that write posts you find interesting. Comment on some of their hubs consistently.
2-Linkback to your hub from your blog.
3-Join Social networking sites (FriendFeed, Twitter etc. and promote your hub).
4-Consistently post new content.
Either way I am sure it takes work, time and patience to attract regular readers.
We shall see!
