Six steps to increase blog traffic

1. Blog posting length. A blog is an entity into which you make entries (post your written articles). Try posting at least 200 words, and integrate selected keywords near the top of your post. The keyword should be related to the title and is used by search engines to help understand focus and visibility of the article.

2.   Do keyword research to select the best keywords to use to integrate into your blog titles, your blog name, article titles, and so. For example, typing in “make money online” will produce millions of results in Google search engines. By typing in more specific keywords like “make money with affiliate marketing” you will receive less competition and less search results. As a result you have chance to use the right keywords in order to increase traffic to your blog.

3. Categories and keywords. Edit your categories to integrate your selected keywords into urls. This will help the search engines notice your blog.

4. Linking to other blogs. Add link to other blogs. A few related blogs is more than adequate, make sure they are useful to your readers and that those links are trustworthy. Try to having more links to whatever you are promoting.

5. Importance of blog directory submissions websites. Get your blog into the top blog directories. You want the links from those directories back to your blog. This very important because it will give your blog better visibility and increase traffic to your blog. People can find you more easily.
