If you play basketball, you most probably want to be able to dunk like players in the NBA do. Even though this might sound like a crazy dream, it is doable.

When trying to increase your vertical jump, the key to make it real is exercising at least 3-4 days a week.  Most people tend to give up after a week of exercising, when they see no visible improvement.

The truth is that hard working people only gain about 1 inch per week. I myself went through this tedious process of jumping higher, and I now have a  38 inch leap. But this only came as a result of a few months' hard work.

What I realized during training is that working solely on improving your leg strength is not all it takes to increase your jumping ability. Working  other parts of your body as well (like the core muscles) is highly recommended, as well as a healthy diet.
