Ahh My First Car!!!!!

My first car was a 1994 Suzuki Swift that was our family's car for 4 years prior. We moved to Virginia from New York in this car. Being that it was a 2 door hatchback, it was not a very "COOL" car. I guess that not many people's first cars are. That being said....I had to MAKE it cool. As a young man that first meant stickers and lots of them. From band stickers to stickers of middle fingers to altered stickers from radio stations.....the Swift had it all. Next......accessories! There was a Pee Wee Herman talking doll, a non working radio, a boombox, and a couch. Yes...I did say couch. I guess I should say couch cushions. I stole some couch cushions from somewhere and put them in the backseat in order to make it more comfortable.  FRIENDS! We were known to cram 6-7 people into that tiny little car. One time we had 8 people in there.....cramped. There was also a set of rules that was written out and kept in the glovebox. No smoking.....who sits where and why.....that kind of stuff. Then the stories.........three windows broken. The first one was the driver side door. At the mall I tried to roll up my window and as I was doing so it got stuck and shattered. The second (the first one still had plastic on it mind you) was the passenger side rear window. My car sat in the street causing no harm to anyone......we were hanging out......someone leaned on it....and smash. Not fun. A year or so later we were pushing my car around for whatever reason...and as we did so a friend literally rolled up the front of my car, up the windshield.....and SMASH! So many memories. I could go on for some time with the memories from my first car. Thank you for asking!

Suzuki Swifts are reliable as long as they are maintained.
