What is Indiana Beach?

Indiana Beach Amusement Resort is an amusement park located on the man made Lake Shafer in Monticello, Indiana. For years Indiana Beach was owned by the Spackman family of Monticello, however in 2008 Indiana Beach was purchased by Morgan RV Resorts. It's also one of my Top Ten Indiana Attractions.

Indiana Beach Attractions

Indiana Beach is home to six roller coasters, including the famous Cornball Express rated number one in the world by ThemeParkCritic.com! Indiana Beach also features the Steel Hawg, the tallest custom steel roller coaster in Indiana!

In addition to their high speed, exhilirating thrill rides, Indiana Beach has a variety of family and children oriented attractions. These include the giant Ferris Wheel, the exciting Flying Bobs, and the historical Antique Autos!

One attraction you won't find anywhere else is the Shafer Queen, a historic paddleboat ride around the lake!

Indiana Beach Waterpark

Did I mention the waterpark?!  Indiana Beach has a decently sized waterpark, one of the largest in Indiana.  Personally I prefer Holiday World's waterpark, but if you're arriving from Chicago Indiana Beach is much closer.
