Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull:

The fourth sequel in the Indiana Jones series lives up to its predecessors. If its been many years or you were very young when you watched some of the first ones, then you really need to go back and look at them again, because while you might remember something amazing, and everyone always talks about how awesome Indiana Jones is, the movies themselves are the epitome of family adventure movies with plenty for everyone in the family. If you walk into this movie expecting pure genius and the most amazing adventure and realism, then you will be surely disappointed, and its your own fault!

Lucas and Spielberg have successfully updated the franchise to bring the graphics and stunts into the twenty first century, but haven't lost any of what makes Indiana Jones so appealing to everyone. He still has his whip, approaches every situation with a level of sarcasm unique to someone who fears only one thing, and the characters are so stereotypical from their era, that they can't help but be highly entertaining, and don't pretend to be anything but that.

However, there was some horrific dubbing of Harrison Ford's voice in the first 15 minutes of the movie, pointing out the fact that they did not use the original sound, the line up is slightly off and the volume is way to high for what he appears to be saying. This would usually destroy a movie for me, as it lasted so long, but you soon forget about some of the hiccups and unexplainable things and quickly slip back into the unique event of watching an Indiana Jones adventure for the first time. Everyone should see this because looking at the amount of money its making, everyone else will have anyway.

Its all about conformity, and Indiana Jones has conformed nicely into a modern day hero of 1957, fighting USSR Communism with the expected alien revelation throughout the movie that has come to be expected from both of these famous directors.
