On December 18th Frank Kerns The Famous Internet Marketing guru behind some previous huge internet marketing successes is launching a timely new program called InfoMillionaire. His main thing is to show people that we need to be in the information marketing business and he's going to provide some great coaching with other leading experts help on how to do it, what to do step by step and best practices. He uses an example which I would do some futher research on but he claims during the last great depression people made money selling packets of info for 5 and 10 cents. I know one great product from back then that many claim made more millionaires than any other book in history and that book is Napolean Hills "Think and Grow Rich". If you have never read that book now is a great time to get to it. If you have read it before break it out, dust it off and get to reading it again and share it with others. I'm not syaing that Frank Kern is the next Napolean Hill but I am saying that he is doing what he's teaching and if you want to make money then you need to follow what other successful people are doing. One thing Napolean Hill or the book think and grow rich could not teach us is Web 2.0 or social media marketing. I can tell you that learning this can be worth millions to you as it has for me. To further explain this I have to say I have not made millions YET from social media marketing. What I have done though FOR A FACT is lost millions by not adopting web 2.0 and marketing via the tactics used in social media marketing. So I know what he's talking about makes total sense. You see I myself had a thriving online retail business until about a year ago. But I made a couple of pretty good mistakes and I managed to take a 10 million a year company in sales to half that in one year until we were forced out of business by screaming vendors. Over the last year I've been studying what I did wrong and the main thing was not adopting the new web 2.0 technology and depending to much on one area of marketing. You see that one area comprised about 40 to 50 percent of our traffic and when we were "Slapped" by the Internet God well that was it. Ten years of building a business down the drain. In fact I went out of business owing more than 1.5 million dollars. Well after many months of shoulda woulda coulda I figured out what I really did wrong and that was like I said above was not adopting and learning the opportunities around WEB 2.0 early enough. Now if you are having a tough time right now you need to do whatever you can get serious and make a change, get positive and learn from those who are doing something right.
