Inside the Bayley House

Just about every paranormal investigator in the area has requested to do an investigation of the inside the Bayley House, to no avail.  Jon Almada and I got lucky, or we  just live right; and we were offered a private tour of the 150 year old brick structure.

The historical landmark is located in Pilot Hill, CA on Highway 49.  The house was built in 1861 by A. J. Bayley.  Bayley was an entrepreneur and believed the railrood would be built near the home.  He decided that the small town needed an inn when that occurred... however, it never happened, so  A.J. and his family moved into the 10,000 sqare foot home.  The home has had many owners since, but has stood vacant for many years.

It is presently owned by the Friends of the Bayley House, which is a non-profit organization created to facilitate its restoration, working with the Georgetown Divide Recreation District.

On Sunday, January 4th Jon Almada from Ghostrider Paranormal Investigations and I met John Crane, a volunteer with the restoration committee, outside the house.  John was kind enough (wonderful enough!) to take us inside and to give us a comprehensive tour of the place.  I took over 30 photographs of the inside of the house, and caught ten spirit orbs, and what I believe to be a shadow figure in the process.  Jon had his digital recorder and got several fantastic EVPs inside the house, including one that bid us welcome as we walked in the front door.

Jon Almada and I would like to express our deep appreciation to John Crane and the owners of the Bayley House for allowing us to investigate it.  It was a trill of a lifetime for both Jon and I.

Here are some of the photographs I took from inside the house:

This was supposedly AJ's bedroom on the second floor. Most of the old plaster walls and slats have been torn down. John Crane told us that there was a man living in the house for a while who was attempting to renovate it. He eventually gave up. P

This is a strange photograph. I did NOT change the color of it in photoshop... all I did was enhance the brightness of it. The flash in my camera did not go off. This is Jon standing on the second floor with I believe to be a shadow figure behind

Close up of spirit orb between the studs. Notice the neucleus and the rainbowed outter energy pattern. These charactoristics are normally seen in spirit orbs. This one is especially vivid.

Close up of spirit orb in the previous photograph. Notice that the necleus is not in the same place as the other close ups, also indicating that it is moving energy and not a dust speck. Once again this orb was located between the upright structure
