Just about every toy played with in America has been imported from a foreign country. If you look on the packaging and product labels of just about every toy and electronics item manufactured today you will find a label or engraving that reads made in China. From small restaurant toys that come in kids meals to large appliances and even automobiles the majority of products bought and used in the United States come from a manufacturing facility overseas, and the greater part of those imports are made in China. The main reason for this is that labor and production costs in foreign markets are far lower than in the United States. The mass production of toys and other goods in China makes it more cost effective for many American toy companies to send their products overseas for mass production. Even with the added tariffs and import taxes added to the consumer cost of purchasing imported items, the cost to produce toys from an outsourced country is far less than it would be within the United States.

While costs of manufacturing may be lowered by outsourced manufacturing to overseas suppliers, the danger of lead based paints or inferior quality plastics within the manufacturing process are increased. Due largely to the unregulated processes of mass manufacturing by foreign governments some of the items being imported for the American consumer are potentially dangerous, especially the toys and objects that are brightly colored using lead based products to finish the items. News stories telling of consumer alerts and massive recalls by some American toy companies, that have used outsourced manufacturing facilities on foreign soil, recount the dangers of exposure to contaminants of toxic materials that have been used in the unregulated foreign manufacturing of toys and other household items.

As more and more products are being imported from foreign cost efficient manufacturing facilities consumer watchdogs are ensuring that the American people are safe from harmful chemicals or toxins used in the overseas manufacturing of many imported products that American consumers rely on. Importers of products made in China use inspection services to ensure that the quality of a product made overseas meets the safety and quality standards of the consumer market within the United States. These China inspections take place at the source of the manufacturing on-site within the facilities that are responsible for the mass production of goods that are exported from that country and imported into the continental United States. By conducting product testing in China at the source of production the safety and consistent quality of toys, plastics and even electronic items can be monitored and checked so that no harmful elements are used in the manufacturing process and all products shipped out of China are safe for use by everyone throughout the world.

China is not a bad country and the reason that so many products are manufactured in China is because of the lower labor costs to employers and the costs of raw materials that are supplied by Chinese companies for the manufacturing of products that are shipped to America. Because Americans are among the richest people in the world the consumer needs of the country demand that consumables, toys and other products be constantly bought and sold by American consumers on an almost daily basis. As a result the importing of products from countries like China are requiring the inspection services of quality control professionals to ensure the safe manufacturing, inspection and product testing of China made products that make their way into the hands of American consumers.

Many American companies design and build prototypes of their products within the US and apply for patents before doing into mass production of their consumer goods. For these companies the importance of having a reliable and cost effective product to deliver to the shelves of the stores throughout the country the need for quality control and inspection of the manufacturing process is vitally important to their profit margins. Only by keeping their production costs low can these companies pass on their savings to the consumers and still turn a reasonable profit. Therefore saving money on delays caused by inferior manufacturing can only be avoided by having a team of management engineers, technicians and inspectors in place on-site in China to conduct the product testing and China inspection services that are required before the products leave the assembly or production facility.

Through the use of China inspectors and testers the American companies are able to avoid costly recalls and law suits that have on occasion made their way into the headlines after a child or adult has been injured or become ill because of a chemical based paint or other toxin that was used in the manufacturing of an imported item by an American company. Toy makers seem to be the most commonly reported victims of the lax standards of the exporting countries, and while their inferior or unsafe products are not designed with the intention of harming anyone the news stories sensationalize the toy developers as being irresponsible even though they may never have known of the problems that they would face when they outsourced the mass production of their popular toys.

It is for reasons like this that China inspection services are so vital to the future of the importing of foreign goods. Only through constant product testing of China made consumer goods and the on-site inspection of raw materials and finished products alike by teams of professionals working on the ground in China and other countries that export products to the United States can the American public continue to buy with confidence.

Parents shopping for pre-school toys for their kids rely on quality and fun for the educational development of their children and make their buying decisions based on the corporate advertising that attracts the brightly colored educational and entertaining toys for their children. Through the responsible quality control systems of product testing in China and the China inspection services that ensure the high standards of safety for manufactures of toys and other products American families can rest assured that their children are playing with the best toys that can contribute to their learning and development.
