Instant Action

Instant action is a new web based online gaming site built for instant gaming as long as you have Internet and flash installed. It is currently in the Beta stages now but is open to game. There are still bugs but very few and right now only 4 games. The concept of the website is really good and easy to use. You go onto www.instantaction.com and make a profile which only takes maybe 5 minutes at the most. After that you're good to go. From the home page you can click the game icons to either start your own game, or join a current one. Instant action has a mail, message, invites, profile, support, and home page link on the top of each page for easy navigation. All the game are made for easy to use fun quick gaming. Here is a break down of each game.

Think Tanks

You and a bunch of other little tanks stroll around shooting little black dots at each-other and whoever survives wins. Pretty basic and fun, reminds me a lot of Atari games or Nintendo. Besides the usual run and shoot tactics there are plenty of power-ups to pick up that will give you bigger bullets, more armor, faster, jumping high, etc. Just to spice it up a little bit. The graphics of the game are actually pretty nice for a web based game. Everything looks cartoonish and is smooth.

Marble Blast-Online

You are a marble and you roll around trying to collect gems spread out across the map. Usually there are only 5 gems on screen at a time and once everyone collects those more appear somewhere else and thats where it gets ugly. each marble is able to blast a little circle around them sending any foe in another direction. When everyone is going for the same thing this battle can get pretty crazy and send people off the map. There are 4 maps currently that you can explore each with their own traps and challenges.Through out the map there are power-ups that increase your abilities ranging from bigger blast, jet quickness, bigger balls (lolzers), jumping higher, or being turned into a chopper (roflcopter). This is probably my favorite game just because its really simple and fun.

Screwjumper

Screw jumper puts you in the shoes of a dude who is flying down and you have to move your body into balls that fends off this deadly gas. Here is what instant action put for their summary The evil alien corporation known only as the EAC has descended on a quaternary system located at the very rim of the galaxy. The automated mines of the EAC ravage the planets for their natural resources, leaving only devastation in their wake. As a mercenary ScrewJumper hired by the Resistance, it is your task to dive to the mine core and destroy the unstable scrutonium reactor within. Equipped only with infra-green goggles, rocket boots, and an unhealthy amount of explosives, ScrewJumpers rely on their ability to feed off destructive energy to survive the deadly mine runs. This game is pretty fun as well because sometimes you're about to die but you get a ball just in time.

CycloMite

Cyclomite is a game where you are a little spinning wheel and you have to spin yourself to collect the right color depending on which color you are. There are different power-ups spread out throughout the game which increase certain abilities. This game can also be played co-op with someone instead of against them adding more fun for homies who like to play together.

All of these games are really easy to play and easy to control. Anyone can step up to the plate and get going. Right now this site is in the beta but you can still collect Tokens which later will allow you to buy more abilities in game.
