Do Your Love Your Pet - Pet Insurance
Do you love your animals? Well, many pet lovers are now getting pet insurance for their pets. Pet insurance is a new breaking trend, with 5% of all pet owners opting in. Although, pet insurance has been around for years, many new companies are popping up with pet insurance coverage. However, pet insurance cost can range widely. The lowest pet insurance policy I found was $6.00 per month.
Companies like Veterinary Pet Insurance (VPI) claim over 1 million pets are insured. Which pets can be insured? Many of the companies offering pet insurance offer plans and coverage for dogs, cats, birds and some offer coverage for exotic pets as well. Exotic pets could be amphibians, some birds, and reptiles.
Many pet insurance companies provide for: accidents, surgeries, prescriptions, lab fees, illness, and office visits. Â

What Should You Look For In A Pet Insurance Policy?
Pet insurance is good for helping you deal with the unexpected vet bills, but review the following carefully:
- What's covered
- What's not covered
- Your pets eligible
- How much is the deductible
- How much is the co-pay
- Review the lifetime limitsÂ
Where Can You Find Pet Insurance Policies:

The bottom line is that big veterinary costs can force you to make hard decisions. If you are a pet lover, maybe pet insurance is the right thing for you and your pet. I'm assuming you have health insurance so why not your pet.Â
