Welcome to another installment of Interesting Coffee Tables. As I've told you before, you can find just about anything on the internet these days and I wanted to prove just how weird things can get by doing a series of Hubs dedicated to bringing you all sorts of wild coffee table ideas.

Why coffee tables you ask? Well, it's simple really. I was trying to think of a good random idea for this hub series and happened to be sitting in my living room at the time. It's really comfortable to rest my feet on my lobster trap glass coffee table when I'm working on my laptop on the couch. So I was working on some other hubs, thinking about something crazy I could do for hubpages, and then it struck me: I have a weird coffee table made out of an old lobster trap! I wonder what other people have in their homes!

That's when the search began.

I showed you the NES Game Controller Coffee Table and I thought that one was pretty cool but this time I have a coffee table for the bolt heads and car junkies out there in the vast interwebs. I bring you the Car Engine Coffee Table.

I wasn't able to find a lot of information about this particular coffee table but it looks like a couple of mechanics are using it for the office in their shop. It's a simple glass coffee table but what makes it really stand out is the fact that the base of it is built out of the block engine of a car. They've even added pistons and exhaust pipes to complete the look.

They also seem to have built themselves some nice chairs with bases made out of truck tire rims. These guys must have a lot of spare car parts sitting idly around their place because who has the money to make furniture out of expensive stuff like that?

Well, I'm glad they did either way because now they've made one of the internet's coolest coffee tables.
