This hub will show you some interesting ideas and data's as come over by me. Then, it is important to me to update frequently.
Great idea is like an invention. It will revolutionalise the way we live. Like that of 'falling of apple'. Data sometimes gives us striking insight into the topics. For example petroleum usage in India and China is increasing in the midst of its scarcity and the same is being discussed world over. The developed world decreased its usage last year like Switzerland 9%, Germany 9%, whereas India increased its usage at a rate of 6.1% and China by 4.1%. For more insight into this story look here. If you are having a varied opinion other than that expressed here you can post it in my message board and also you can point out any technical flaws.

CYBER WAR (13.08.08)
While I am going through a New York Times article, I came across an incidence of cyber invasion ahead or simultaneously with the attack on Georgia. Georg-eon government websites were blocked by hackers by sending millions of mails and reported distributed denial of service (D.D.O.S). In terms of Internet address Georgia ranks 74 out of 234 nations behind Nigeria, Bangladesh, Bolivia and Elsalvador. Such less Internet dependent countries become hapless prey to such malicious attackers. Whereas Internet dependent countries like Israel, Estonia, the US e.t.c are more capable to the-wart such Trojan Horces. So, it appears that Cyber Space will be the next generation battle field. Hence, just go for Linux which is more solid than Windows. Read this precious resources.

A REVOLUTIONARY IDEA FROM AUSTRALIA (22.08.08)
Imagine an examination with the help of your friend or Internet or your own books. Sydny's Pressbyterian Ladies College is planning to introduce its 'open book concept' among 14 to 15 years old English students. Just read their's own words :-
"In-terms of preparing them for the world, we need to redefine our attitudes towards traditional idea of cheating. In their working lives they will never need to carry enormous amount of information around in their heads."
Really it is new to all. However, in modern times information is almost free. Why not we can adopt such steps to improve the delivery of information and broaden our children's intellectual acumen and their horizon of interaction in a productive way.
GADGET ENABLING RECHARGING THROUGH WIRELESS
New York Times reported that Intel the chip maker is on advanced research in pursuant to the studies conducted by Massachusetts Institute of Technology. They are pursuing 'resonant induction' which is a technique of transmitting electricity several feet without wires. They demonstrated 60 W power transfer to two to three feet with 25% loss in transmission.
Now we can think about a wireless world around us not only for our modern gadgets but for your entire building.
"In 2006, the M.I.T. researchers demonstrated that by sending electromagnetic waves around a waveguide it was possible to produce "evanescent" waves that could permit electricity to wirelessly tunnel to another waveguide "tuned" to the transmitting loop.

European Centre for Nuclear Research, a prestigious science initiative started in 1954. They started the World Wide Web WWW we simply see and experience. Now the same institution is going to make a difference by launching a laboratory, its circumference is 27KMs, wow! And also created a Computer Grid involving 50000 servers around the world to manage the data created by the lab. The most amassing thing of all is this grid is 10 thousand times speeder than the present day broadband. Hence, it is capable to replace the present Internet gateways. In the near future speed will go even faster. This lab code named Large Hadron Collider is placed under the earth 100 to 165 meters deep. Humans take 10 years to complete this huge structure. It is intended to create artificially the stage of earth when the Big Bang just happened. Actually it is unimaginable, because it creates lot of temperatures even 1 lakh times more than the temperature at the crest of the Sun! The same is created by Proton Collisions while they are circulating each other in opposite directions inside the collider. To mitigate the extremity in temperature the space inside the collider is arranged at -271.3 Degrees Celsius with 60 tonnes of liquid Helium. Protons are to circulate the collider 11245 times per second in 14 trillion volts. Collisions will happen at four places around the collider. Detectors are placed at these four places to collect data of maximum proportion and send to the Grid. Atlas is the biggest detector with 150 feet long 82 feet high and weighs 7000 tonnes.

I like the one about the wedding dress. I have noticed beautiful party dresses on ebay for less than 10$ but the P&P is usually about 100$ which makes it just as good to buy in a nearby shop and try it on for fitting and quality.
