Internal vaginal warts can be detected after abnormal pap smear tests. But further tests and exams may be required to make a more accurate diagnosis.

In fact, a colposcope may be inserted inside the vaginal canal and cervix to look for genital warts inside these areas. Furthermore, a biopsy may be don on the areas where the presence of the warts is suspected and sample from the tissues of the suspected lesions may be examined in a laboratory.

Treating internal vaginal warts:

Internal vaginal warts can be treated with laser therapy, Cryotherapy (freezing) or Electrocautery. They can also be treated with a topical gel called Alpha interferon.

Alpha interferon is an antiviral solution that is injected inside the vagina with a special applicator twice a day for five successive days. Then the treatment is resumed after two days until the warts are killed.

Natural remedies for internal vaginal warts:

A big number of remedies can be used on external genital warts. But all these natural cures should be applied directly on the surface of the warts to kill them. For this reason, these natural cures can't be used on internal vaginal warts.

However, it is possible to cure internal vaginal warts naturally using a natural homeopathic medicine like Wartrol.

This herbal extract is taken orally to triggers a reaction of the immune system against the warts to kill them. So not only does it kill internal vaginal warts and external ones alike but it also acts on the warts that are still too small to be noticed.

The period of treatment the is required by Wartrol depends on the ability of the immune system to respond to the treatment and on the severity and the size of the lesions. Click here to learn more about Wartrol!
