Internet Marketers-Don't Get Shunned On Social Sites

Make Sure To Add Value To Your Internet Marketing
Internet marketing really boils down to part science, and part relationship building. Adding value, or rather helpful information to network marketers will help you build relationships and trust to those looking through your content.
It is especially important for network marketers to develope relationships with people and offer them something of value before you ever brag about your new income opportunity or super duper nutritional product that was found in a remote part of the world and was used by the advanced humans that inhabited the earth 10,000 years ago before they left for planet anteria.
Have you have ever been over to some of the social sites where people just post sales ads selling this or that and add no content other than ads? Try not to fall into that trap. That's not to say that you can't show people what you have to offer. However, as a rule, people are interested in who you are, what you know, and what you can contribute to the community, not just what you sell.
There is a right way and a wrong way to go about it. Think of it like living in a nice quite neighborhood where eveyone knows everyone and we all get along. How does such a neighborhood come to exist? By each neighbor participating in the community and having something to offer that community. It is the same principle as the attraction marketing model for the network marketing community.
What if you were living in that neighborhood. A new person moves two houses down from you. Within a day or so they come knocking on your door. You open the door, and the new neighbor says "Hi, my name is Buck and I just joined this way cool new business opportunity that you can get rich on and everyone on the planet needs it plus I am an internet marketing expert-guru-topsales-superman-and I will save you from your crappy job just join me now and in 6 months we'll both be rich".
Sounds crazy, doesn't it. But this is exactly what many, many newbies joining social sites do. They post stuff that makes them sound like "Buck" and the neighbors in the community will treat the offender like a lepar and eventually they will get banned from the site.
The good news is you can still go to these social sites and target your specific niche simply by adding value to the community. Let people get to know you. Post something that has nothing to do with your product or book. Post something that YOU enjoy and let the community get to know you. Join Groups within the community that genuinely interests you. Respond to other people's posts and don't just write 5 words. Be yourself.
If you are a networker who is brand new to social networking and you are not sure about it I'd just say that it really is allot of fun and a good place to learn the principles of social marketing is at Renegade University.
