Internet marketing comes in various forms. You can own an online auction, have your own product or service, affiliate market or network market. They all have one thing in common, which can tear you to pieces like an untamed beast, if you let it. That common thing is you need to research the market place, to find out exactly what people want. Research takes more than one day, because when you think you've got it, that idea can change with the next waking day, so you're back to the drawing board. Anyway, once you've properly researched your niche, then you're on the right track to reach internet marketing optimization. Because of your research, you will be able to set up effective marketing campaigns to convert customers to sales and keep them coming back, so you live independently on the income generated from your online business.

So, you can tame the internet marketing beast by researching the niche you've chosen and knowing your market. Many people hear the phrase, "make easy money online". They search and in their searches they do find bits and pieces of marketing advice about easy ways to earn full time income online with part time hours. So they take these pieces of information and let's say for an example, sign up into an affiliate program or two or three. I'm about to bust the bubble, yes, bust not burst! Internet marketing is hard!! I've been in the internet marketing field for a little over 5 years, and I'm just now really getting the full concept of search engine optimization, as it applies to promoting affiliate products. Darn!, you say, why did it take me so long? Why?, because I was following inexperienced marketers, the blind leading the blind and getting nowhere. So, getting back to my epiphany. I finally stepped back one day, and I said, there are a lot of people operating in successful online ventures, what are they doing? So, instead of continuing to buy every marketing product and service out there, I just started studying the marketing products, I already owned.

One thing I noticed right away, how they make money is, by creating their own product or service displayed on their own website with membership options, even creating an affiliate program for their product, just to name a few tactics. Great, you have a product or service, but you still have to market that bad boy, that's where the marketing beast dares to raise it's ugly head. But, if you're willing to take the time to fully learn internet marketing optimization, through current SEO techniques, you can conquer the beast and join the millions of others living their dream life from the income of their online venture(s).
