Internet Marketing videos come in a wide range of topics, formats and genres. Probablt the most common type these days is the cosmic rise in the number of review videos we now see. One of the main reasons for the rise in these types of marketing video is the huge popularity of sites like http://youtube.com/ and google video. Marketers can create their quick 2 min video using screen capture software like Camtasia by bringing up a product on their pc or mac and then video it in action while adding some commentary or soundtrack.
These videos are then uploaded to the huge number of video hosting sites and the marketer then benefits from not only the traffic it may send him but also many of these sites allow html in the description which means they get the benefit from backlinks too. It will be interesting to see how long this continues as really this is an easy way of 'gaming' the search engines and you would think google will be sharpening their knives. But google owns the biggest video site, youtube so who knows what they will do.
Another form of online marketing videos on the rise, is the internet marketing tutorial. The majority of marketers when launching new products and guides are now using video rather than the out of date ebook format. Does this mean the death of the ebook? Well maybe not right now but it is coming. Nearky everybody these days has a pc and they can all watch videos and this is not even taking into account the fact they can be watched on ipod and other media players.
Recent statistics make interesting reading especially that on a recent test people who tried to learn something by reading would remember at most 10% whereas those learning by watching videos actually could remember upwards of 45%! So it makes sense thatif you want someone to learn something then video is the obvious choice. If you would like to see the type of videos I am talking about then check out this Internet Marketing videos site.

I am a visual learner that's why I always prefer videos over books. I like taking down notes while I watch a video tutorial. It has been scientifically proven that the more senses you use the more you absorb what you're studying.
These marketing videos are taking the web by storm. Thanks for enlightening us on the usage and statistics of video marketing

So, I belong to a minority: people who prefer books to videos. But when you look closely at videos, you realise that most of them display plain text; a voice reads it aloud, slower than you would do.
