Take Massive Action To Produce Massive Results?
Some of the methods I use to market online are pretty much self-explanatory; while others may force you out of your comfort zone. It's not my job to make this easy; it's my intent that you will be a little uncomfortable and get your creative juices flowing.
But first you might be wondering what the heck is GUTz?
Well, we're not going to talk about the "urban" use of the term because that has nothing to do with our GUTz Method of Internet Marketing.
So using the noun version of guts and quoting from WordNet 2.0 Dictionary; our version of guts (GUTz) means:
fortitude and determination; "he didn't have the guts to try it" (synonym) backbone, grit, moxie, sand, gumption
Because in the internet world of marketing; using Web 2.0 tools sometimes takes GUTz. We all know that in the 21st Century...
"Old School Marketing" Doesn't Work!
With the internet more and more people are skeptical. Folks want to know the person behind the picture, the website, the email, the business. It's not good enough to make a few phone calls and build a massive online business. Does that still work?
Yes, and there are people who are building their business that way...it's just not the way we prefer to work. We don't want to make 30-50 phones calls a night to sign up 1 or 2 people MAYBE in 3 weeks. Yes, we've heard about filling the pipeline...if you "work" your prospect right they'll join. Well, I don't want to "work" my prospects...
I want to have FUN and make FRIENDS!
No matter if you are considering your own business or you already have one in my humble opinion there are 5 absolute must-have's you need in place to Market with GUTz.
So let's get to it...we're going to go through the online tools that we use everyday to build our "list". See, we don't promote our opportunity at every turn. We promote US...and that is what you will learn from this short hub page we've put together for you.
While we will discuss why the use of each tool here...it's up to you to take your training further by actually going through the steps...
Before that let's clear up some myths. You've seen those systems that promise massive results without any effort on your part...First that is pure B.S. For you to truly have results you have to go through the steps.
It's called WORK! If you are thinking this is a "push a button and all systems are go" you'll be sorely disappointed. Time is Money...and in order to make Money you have to do some work.
Let's Answer Some Questions
How much is this going to cost me?
That depends on you. While some of the tools we recommend are free some are not. It's our belief that the tools you use to build your business should either be free or make you money.
The tools fall into one or both categories...free is good...making money with the tools...even better.
Do I have to spend $1,000's on advertising?
No! But eventually you will want to explore the hundred's of resources on the web that you can advertise for pennies and still get good results.
Do I have to talk to people?
What? Absolutely! If you're going to use the Internet Marketing with GUTz in the beginning you're going to want to have leads for your primary business which means you're going to have to talk to somebody. And when you start to receive leads for your business you're going to have to talk to people. This is a people business. I make friends every day with my prospects. Our whole business turned around when we STOPPED selling and started listening. The pressure was off to make that sale.
How many hours a week do I have to work?
I work my business not less than 20 hours a week. How many you work will depend on you. Is that episode of House or Oprah really that important? Or is your financial future more important to you?
Can I make $1,000's overnight?
Nope! The training here is NOT a get-rich overnight scheme. It takes time to build relationships using Social Media.
Do I really need all the tools you suggest?
In my opinion YES! First, if you are sending your prospects to a replicated website you're missing the boat! The whole purpose of this hub is to teach you to market YOU-not your company. In order to market YOU-you need the tools of the trade!
Internet Marketing Tools
Buy Your Name
The most valuable asset you have is your name. Go right now and purchase your name as a domain. We use Godaddy; but you can use any domain registrar you prefer.
You're going to eventually need a lot of domains. The first one you need is your name. While you're at it buy the .com, .net, .biz, and .info
After all this is YOUR name; why would you let somebody else buy it? If your name isn't available; mine wasn't. Then buy the whoisyourname.
You Gotta Get Skyped
Some folks will say, why in the world do I need Skype? It's a very powerful resource for folks who building an international organization. You can talk to your international folks WITHOUT long-distance phone charges. And it's a great way to meet folks and you may eventually partner a joint venture with them.

One of the best tools you can do for your Team or Organization is to start a Team Skype Chat!
Social Network
First and foremost you're going to need at the very minimum a MySpace Page...we'll talk about Video sites later. It can be scary using Web 2.0 for the first time...but trust me the journey is worth it.
Listed below is a list of the Social Networks you should join. Most of them are free.
MySpace
Direct Matches (Geared more for Network Marketers) I recommend upgrading to the $10 a month membership
Ryze (Been around awhile but still a great place to meet)
Yuwie
Squidoo
Hubpages
There are lots of videos on the net that will show you how to setup your pages. That's not what this hub page is about. This is the very basics.
I use ironspider.ca for MySpace template. They nice and clean.
Video Marketing
At the very minimum you should be loading video's to at least 3 sites. I've listed the most popular below:
YouTube
MySpaceTV
Google Video
AOL Video
Yahoo Video
Metacafe
There are some important guidelines when using any of the video marketing sites.
Remember to ask yourself; what is your target market? If you're marketing your business make sure your description has your capture page NOT a company replicated website.
Some questions to ask:
- Does my video give value?
- Is it funny?
- Am I promoting ME or my company?
People do NOT join businesses; they join people they know like and trust. So are you building trust with your audience?
We tell folks that if every video you do is join me, join me, join me and about your opportunity, folks are going to change the channel.
So talk to people about your passions, your dreams, your goals, and your family. Think of the video marketing sites as your own TV station. You are the producer, director, and actor/actress.
Now for those videos where you want to capture your screen you can google CamStudio and download that piece of software.

For a list of the major video websites we found two sources that we liked:
Capture Pages
You should send ALL of your contacts through a Capture Page FIRST. There are many good one's on the internet.
When searching be sure that you find on that suits your needs. In other words, some capture page systems require that you have an outside source for the autoresponder...try to find one with an all inclusive package.
When you direct folks through your capture page system you're creating a list of "prospects"; a list that is YOURS and one that you can create exciting offers to down the road.
And it follows my first rule of marketing. The tools you use to build your business should accomplish one or two things: They should either be free or make you money; preferably BOTH.

O.K. we've talked about Domains, Skype Social Sites, Video sites, and capture pages.
Now let's put it into prospective. There is one more important tools that I haven't covered and that's using Free Press Releases and Articles to drive traffic back to you.

- Social Networks (List Building)
- Video Networks (Your Story)
- Blogs/Lenses/Hubs (Content)
- Capture Pages (Drive all traffic to you first)
- Articles/Press Releases (News)
With all of those pieces in place you will have a complete internet marketing system in place. There is no such thing as building a Business In A Box!
