Everyone is looking for ways to make it rich online. They are all looking for the next system to show them how to make their millions. Well the reality is anyone can make it rich online and everything that you need to know is already out there for you to grab onto and turn into your personal cash machine.

The biggest problem is people don't know how to get started and what system to follow.

This is an absolute must do for a first step when starting your journey to a million dollar income online.  The problem is most people either skip this step or they take it too lightly.

You need to come up with a strong and compelling "why" 

Your "why" needs to motivate you to take action, it needs to inspire you to challenge yourself to be better and it needs to be long lasting.

An example of a bad "whys" are:

• I want to start my online business becasue I hate my job.
• I need more money
• I want a new car

Now I am not saying these are not legitimate reasons for starting an online business.  I am just saying these are not strong and motivating "whys"

Lets take a look at the first one.  So lets say you start your online business and quit your job.  Now what?  You don't need to start up your online business to quit your job.  You can do that today.

What if your "why" was something like:

• My mom had to work 2 jobs just to keep a roof over our heads when I was a little boy.  My wife and I plan to have a family and I want to be able to provide for my children so that my wife and I can spend as much time with our children as possible.  I want to go to all parent teacher interviews, all soccer games, and every school play.  Earning an income online will allow me to do all those things and more.

Now do you see the difference?

Not ony will that "why" motivate you to take action, it will also give you the motivation when you run int difficult times in your business (and you will).

So take the time and really think about why you want to start an online business.  Youcan have more than one "why".  When you are done write them down and put them on your wall as a constant reminder of why you are taking this journey.

Oh the world is full of distractions. And the internet is the source for so much wasted time. I love watching videos on YouTube but does that make me any money?

If you are serious about running your business then you need to make a concentrated effort to remove all distractions from reaching you goal.

An easy way to do this is treat your business like your job. When you have a job you have to show up to work at a certain hour, you take breaks at certain times and you go home at a certain hour. Do the same for your business.

Create a work environment in your house that is away from all distractions. When you are at that location work. Don't read the paper, or watch TV or talk to your family, just work.

If you are already working a job and have a difficult time finding time to start your business this step can not be more important to you. Look for a hour a day where you can work on your business. Stop watching a TV show and spend that time on your business. Or go to bed 1 hour later and spend that time on your business.

If this is too difficult to do then take a good look at your "why" and ask yourself does watching that TV show or going to that party get you to your desired place? Probably not!

No matter what you do make sure you spend your time that you do spend on our business as focused as possible. By not focusing your efforts the only person you are cheating is yourself. And once your business is up and running you will find yourself with more free time to either catch up on your lost TV show or grow your business even more!

A great way to start is with a training program that gives you all the tools to start, like a website, videos, marketing tools and sets it all up for you so you don't waste time struggling at the start.  Then a good program will give you the training to turn the program into your own business that you grow with your learned new skills.

This is a hard one for most people. Nobody likes to admit that they don't know something. Often times people will be given the exact steps to do a task that will make them millions but then think they can do it better and so don't follow the instructions exactly and don't see the same success.

For example some people learn by reading - well if that is you then you will want to seek out ebooks or manuals in the area you need training in. Other people learn by watching. If that is you then you should seek out training videos. With the explosive growth of online videos sites like YouTube it is easy to find videos on just about anything.

Failure to do this step will cause your business to fail quickly

When a person has a bad experience they tell 20 people.  When they have a good experience they tell 2. And even worse the internet makes it so easy to complain about a product or a business, and people love to complain.

If you don't think this is true do a Google search for "scam" and see how many sites come up.  There are even websites 100% dedicated to letting people vent their frustrations about a product or service they have purchased.

So how do you avoid being labled a scam or worse online?  Give value to every step of your business.  Weather it is replying to an email honestly and quickly or putting out the absolute best product possible.  The better the quality the better your business will be.

Lets take an example of the mom making $200 a day writing articles in her spare time.  I admit I use her to produce many of my article to promote one of my businesses.  I order 500 word articles from her evry week and she always sends me 600-700 word aricles back days before I asked for them.  She never lets me pay her more than the agreed amount for her service.  So what do I do in return?  I give her more business because I know the quality of articles she puts out is high and above y expecations.   have taken money I spend on other writers who don't provide such good service and spend it on her. 

How cn you under promise your service or product to your customer and over deliver?  Do that and you will have people knocking on your door to give you their money

The world is a fast place and getting faster everyday.  If you are not staying in he stream of action then you are getting passed by. 

You need to make sure you are taking action everyday to grow your business or learn new systems to grow your business.

Set a schedule for your business so ensure you are always taking action.  There should never be a day when you sit down at your computer and say "I don't know what to do today" or "I am just going to let the business run itself today"  You do that and your business is dead.

Make a commitment to spend a percentage of your revenues and time on education.  And make sure to put your new learnings into place beacuse if you don't then your competition will.
