53Streamline Funnel System Scam: How to get your money back
It's so simple to see through this guys scam if you just stop and think about what he offersand what you will get in return. First you have to figure that out. The offer that you signed upfor is not the same offer you get. He think nothing of changing the rules to the game in themiddle of the game. This is my first blog on this system. I have a lot to say but I don't know where to put it. Go to my main blog or comment area to get the whole story. i will also try to put it here, too.
How to get your money back.
Streamline Funnel System is a complete SCAM and I am really sorry, because not only did I buy into it but I pushed it and did a few email advertisements on viralURL and got a bunch of people to sign up. If you were one of them: GET OUT before you get billed for nothing again.
If you are a member you have to read these reports.
At the end I will tell you how to get your money back.
By the way the only thing you can advertise with your 10K or ad packages is the Streamline Funnel System! And they have no product! There is no way to advertise your existing business.
In my defense; I did tell everyone of my personal referrals that:
I was not sure about this offer but I was going to try it because of the low risk, $9.90. My personal down line in my primary businesses totals over 11,000. That's before I joined SFS.
They want these people for their own list.
I think it was my own greed that drove me to over look the obvious. "If it sounds to good to be true...".
Don’t worry. This isn’t one of those blogs or advertisements disguised as a review where all I say is “of course it’s not a scam… now here’s my affiliate link”.
Since I have been seeing ads for The Streamline Funnel System popping up everywhere I thought I would spend some time today checking it out. After all, I love “funnel systems” so maybe it was something worth joining.
I should probably point out that The Streamline Funnel System was in “pre-launch” until July 1st so there is pretty limited information (they moved the pre launch back a week to July 7th, because of all the "heavy hitters" that asked for the delay) as to how everything is going to work. Still, that hasn’t stopped hundreds of marketers from promoting it all over the Internet as the “next big thing”.
With out even knowing how it works. Another red flag; it wasn't ready for launch on time.
Just another note: I have found through years of experience and the advise of my father, If a person tells you they are honest and attempts to prove it to you, they most likely are not. An honest person never feels the need to tell you that, it wouldn't occur to them. But a crook will.
My father told me three truths in life. Rule one is above.
Rule two was: Guys that talk about all of the sex they are having, aren't having any.
Rulle three is really an observation: When I was 16 years old my father was an idiot. When I was 21 I was amazed to see how much he had learned in 5 years. Sorry I digress.
Since the site is still in pre-launch there isn’t much info on the homepage. Basically just a nice design by cheapminisites.com and a video from The Streamline Funnel System creator Paul Birdsall. You could have made the site in about an hour.
Inside the site there are a few videos explaining how the program is going to work and some advertising materials that you can use to recruit new members. Oh, there’s is also a message that says “during pre-launch it’s crucial you personally sponsor people”. No explanation why though.
Here’s what I have been able to gather about the way the program works. Basically, Paul Birdsall has been hard at work for the last 14 months developing the latest Web 3.0 software that harvests double opt-in leads from the Internet. For only $9.95/month you can send your ads to 10,000 of these exclusive leads every month. Wow! Sound good, huh?
Ok, let’s break it down. First, can someone please explain what exactly “Web 3.0″ is? I mean, we all know that “Web 2.0″ was a huge buzz word a few years ago when social networking sites started taking off… but what the heck is “Web 3.0″? I assume if I don’t understand it then it must be something pretty awesome. Right?
Paul claims his software harvests double opt-in leads. Does everybody understand what “double opt-in” means? These are leads that have specifically given you permission to email them. First they say “Please email me”, then you say “are you sure?”, and they say “yes, I am positive”. These are some of the best leads you can get. Spending $1 to get one of these leads on your list is generally considered to be pretty good. 10,000 of these leads for $9.95 is extraordinary! I have to admit though; something about using the word “harvest” makes me think these aren’t exactly double opt-in leads or they are someone elses leads.
I should also point out that the leads you get from The Streamline Funnel System are “exclusive” leads. That means every member will get 10,000 different leads. Sweet! But wait, maybe we should do some math first…
According to my user id about 30,000 people have joined The Streamline Funnel System so far. It’s safe to say that by the way people are promoting this thing there will be at least another 10,000 people by the time they launch next week. That’s 31,000 members. Obviously not all 31,000 people are going to pay the $9.95 on launch day but lets say they did. 31,000 members x 10,000 = 31,000,000 exclusive double opt-in leads. 310 million! That’s four times the population of Canada!
Obviously that is a lot of leads but Paul isn’t really clear about what you can do with these leads. You see the way the “income opportunity” part of The Streamline Funnel System works is that when someone you refer to the site orders additional leads you earn a commission. They aren’t saying how much these extra leads cost but since your commission on an additional 10,000 leads is $50 I am assuming it costs a bit more than that, like double. They seem to imply that your 10,000 leads will be used to automatically recruit new members to your Streamline Funnel System site. When the leads sign-up and buy the additional leads you make free money.
I can understand why people would be willing to pay $9.95/month to try this but who’s is going to pay hundreds of dollars on extra lead packages without testing it out the first 10,000 leads? I suppose if you get enough sign-ups it’s possible a few will try extra lead packages eventually but the videos talk about earning thousands of dollars a month and “all you have to do is join and push a button”.
I should mention that I also did a little research on Paul Birdsall who is the creator of The Streamline Funnel System and found some interesting information. I don’t want to personally smear the guy on my blog but I did find information about quite a few other programs that he has run in the past which are obviously not making anybody any money today. Anybody who is interested in joining The Streamline Funnel System should probably go to google and do a search for Paul Birdsall to get a better understanding of what they are getting into. I can save you a little time and tell you that he has a lot of really bad press. A lot of people claim he is a very successful scammer. He does not live in the USA.
When you go to the site you are told it only costs $9.97 for an upgraded membership and you will get 10,000 email opt ins that will receive your link! If you happened to go to the last call or webinar prior to launch there is an additional $39.95 that must be paid within 3 days. The problem is many people could not get to the final call! What happened to the first month only costing you $9.97?Those that did heard a garbled fast talking flim flam man named Paul rattling off numbers and figures so fast that you would never comprehend anything he said! Now a couple hours later it is launch time! That was late, too. You sign up and here is Paul saying that you must realize that they can't possibly give you 10,000 opt ins! You should have known that! You will be in a rotation with 25 others for the same opt ins! Do the math and it is the equivalent of getting 400 opt ins for 50.00 not 10,000 for 9.97!
I was warned by people to steer clear but unfortunately I lost $9.97 which I will contest in the morning with my bank! Then I will contest the other charges they put on my credit card. Paul is in Canada and lucky for his operation that the FTC can't touch him without the cooperation of Canadian officials! Although that did not save Heathmill in the UK with his loan scams! You can Google that for the details. Stay away from Streamline Funnel System and Paul Birdsall if you want to prevent frustration!
Okay here's what you do. You have to contest the charge to your credit card company. I know it's a pain in the ass to do it. But it isn't really. If it is sold on the internet it has an automatic money back guarantee by law. They don't tell you that. so all of the sites that offer you your money back are doinf so because it's the law. If certain things apply. This is one of them. You were told that the first month membership was only $9.97, you did not authorize the $39.95. You did not get what was promised, 10K double opt in leads. These are more than enough reasons to get the credit card company refund your account.
You can do it on the phone most of the time. I'm sorry if you signed up under me. The more people that contest the charges the easier it is to get a refund and get Big Bad Paul banded from credit card acceptance. Oh yea, make sure you cancel your account with streamline funnel system, do it at the end of the month you paid for, just in case you get some leads. Just kidding! Also ask for a refund with your cancellation. Your credit card company needs you to do that at least once before they will take action.
Now I am going to put the links to businesses that I know areon the up and up. I am in them and they are starting to really pay off now.
I hope I am not breaking any rules!
