People see the value in learning how to generate free targeted MLM leads through internet attraction marketing methods. However, few understand that they must get extensive internet and network marketing training in order to master these methods.

My First Few Years in Network Marketing Were Spent Chasing After Prospects

I followed the advice of my upline and used the exact marketing methods that they were using. I talked with my friends and family. I made a list of 200 acquaintances and contacted them. That was a horrible experience!

I bought lists of leads from lead generation companies and called those leads. Even when I had clearly scheduled telephone appointments with a prospect, many times they weren’t there at the scheduled time and eventually disappeared off the face of the earth.

I had my elevator speech down pat and used it on anyone who came close to me. My wife and I had home business presentations. I invited prospects to hotel meetings.

Occasionally I would come across a person (a family member, friend, acquaintance, or cold lead) who had some interest in what I was doing. Most of them would ask how I brought people into my business. They wanted to know how I spent my day working my business.

You know, it was embarrassing to tell them how I marketed my business and how I spent hours on the phone calling people who had little or no interest in what I had to offer.

Although I later started having some success using these marketing methods, it was difficult getting my team members to duplicate what I was doing. Attrition was always a problem.

I later began using pay per click (PPC) advertising on Google and Yahoo. The results were very good. My PPC advertising costs were high but my revenue was much higher.

But when my sales from PPC declined, my advertising costs continued to be high and were actually rising. I eventually had to shut down my Google and Yahoo PPC accounts.

Since I was no longer paying for leads, my lead flow was drastically reduced. I set out on a mission to find a cheaper way to market my business.

Internet Attraction Marketing Seemed to be the Answer for Me

I came across Ann Sieg’s eBook, The 7 Great Lies of Network Marketing. I have to say that the book was an eye-opener for me. It explained why I had such limited success in my early network marketing days. It showed how the old, traditional MLM marketing methods of chasing after prospects just didn’t work for most people.

I then bought Sieg’s next eBook, The Renegade Network Marketer. This book really resonated with me. Sieg talked about internet attraction marketing and how a network marketer could attract prospects rather than having to chase after them.

These two books inspired me to master these marketing methods. I knew I needed training. I had no idea where to start.

I began by checking out everything I could find on internet attraction marketing. I attended webinars and listened to teleconference training calls. I bought eBooks, CDs, and DVDs.

But I never found what I was looking for. Yes, I did get some good information and ideas. But I never got the detailed training I needed to get the results I wanted. I was never able to get the results I was led to believe I could attain.

My Business Turned Around After Finding Renegade University Training

I then discovered Renegade University training. Here was the internet and network marketing training I was searching for.

For one thing, the training is provided in the form of webinars or tutorials online. It allows people to go at their own pace depending upon the time they have available.
