What Will Your Flip Video Say About YOU?
Strange title, I know but one of the really neat things with the Mino HD is you can customize it for YOU! If you purchase the white or black flip video mino hd, you can put a skin on it that represents who you are, what you like, philosophy or whatever.
Below you will see a custom skin for the flip video mino hd (credit: flip video).
A Lot Of Features Packed In This Flip Video
As mentioned before, this slim, slick "one of a kind" HD camcorder is packed full of features and is so dead simple to use, all you have to do is press the red button and you are recording in High-Def video.
Here is what the flip video mino hd features:
- A Lithium Ion battery that last up to 2 hours.
- 4 GB of memory to hold 60 minutes of HD video.
- 1280 x 720 resolution.
- LCD Screen for playback of your recorded video.
- Improved low-light sensitivity.
- 9 Mbps encoding rate, and
- Uses the H.264 video compression.
Now that's a lot packed into a little camcorder! What more can I say, this would be a great starter camcorder for your teen, young person, mom, dad or any family member to give as a Christmas gift. Not only that, once you give it to them and they find out how easy it is to use, then you won't have to worry about takng the video at the family functions because they will be more than excited to do it. ;-)
What Are The Caveats Mate?
Well, I've given you the plus sides of the flip video mino hd and, of course, with any new gadget that comes out, there are some caveats.
First, the flip video mino hd works the best when it is held steady or otherwise it finds the ground more often then the object you are wanting to video.
Second, the mino hd doesn't come with a memory expansion slot (like many digital cameras do) for adding more memory.
Lastly, a battery that is non-removable and doesn't last very long.
Overall, the flip video mino hd is a step forward in small hd camcorders that creates some good quality video, can be carried around without making a bulge in your pocket or purse and only takes one push of a button to start or stop recording. If you are looking for a HD camcorder that is small, sleak and stylish - but allows you to take some good hd video, then the flip video mino hd is for you.
I hope you enjoyed this hub page on the flip video mino hd. Please leave your comments on your experience with the flip video mino or hd - whether positive or negative. Thank you.

The only problems with it is that are the software isn't that good for making good videos and your laptop might be too think so the camera might just hang from the USB while plugged in. Thats what I had to do and it broke the USB so I returned it and then bought a USB extension.
