Finding a Quality Ipod Headphone
Advice on how to find that perfect pair of Ipod headphones
You saved and saved. Finally, you are able to say that own your very own Ipod. You are set to go. But wait, you aren't that happy with the regular Ipod headphones that come with the player.
The regular Ipod headphones are made to be comfortable. Yet, some people still don't think that they are comfortable enough for them. They are also made more for sitting purposes than for active purposes such as jogging or other exercising activities. This is a huge drawback because most people will use their IPods the most when taking part in such activities than they ever would while they were in sitting mode.
Actually, you aren't alone. Many consumers don't like the regular Ipod headphone set, which is actually a pair of ear buds. Some just don't like ear bud type headphones. They say they are not comfortable. They don't like the way they fit in their ears. Others, don't mind that they are ear buds, but would like a pair of headphones that have a much better sound or even possibly a pair that offers noise cancelling effects.
It is okay to replace the original Ipod headphones with a pair of headphones that you actually like. Plus, once you begin shopping for a new pair of headphones you will find that you have many, many choices.
For instance, did you know that you could skip the traditional choices of the normal ear bud type or ear cup type of headphones all together and go with an ear clip? An ear clip headset fits behind your ear.
What other types of headphones can you find that are suitable for an Ipod? Actually, you can find many types and styles of headphones that will work. But if you want one that will work with the best overall sound, you may want to stick with the brands and styles that actually say that are suitable for Ipod use. This is one fundamental key whether you are choosing from an over the ear clip style headset, an Ipod headphone set that actually has ear cups or an in the ear bud type headphone unit.
Now what other considerations should you factor in on your decision?
Cost?
Of course, this is always a major consideration. If you know what you are able to spend, you can really narrow down your choices.
Where do you plan on using the Ipod headphones and unit the most?
Do you plan on using inside? Outside? In your quiet office? In your noisy dorm room? In a noisy gym? On a plane? In your car? This does matter in your choice?
Now what type does you like the most? There are several types to choose? Here are a few.
This is the type is similar to those that comes with your Ipod. They are small and nest in your outer ear. There is no headband. They are great for use when working out. Price ranges from $10 to $100.
INEAR MONITOR
This is a tiny pair of headphones. They are very inexpensive. Most people may love them, but can't afford them. They actually seal inside your ear canal. These are used in recording studios.
CLIP ON
Sometimes this headphone set is referred to as the streetwise type of headphones. There is no conventional headband. Yet, sometimes you may see this type with a behind your head type of band or a clip that fits around your ear. This clip on style makes styling your hair or wearing hats or caps easier or more doable.
PORTABLE HEADPHONES
This is a compact and lightweight type of headphone. They can be folded and sometimes come with their own case. The pads are small and flat. They rest on your earlobes. The sounds that they can deliver are impressive.
FULL SIZED HEADPHONES
These are larger and are typically used while in one place. They have impressive sound and performance.
These are very convenient because they have no cords. They are connected to a device through a transmitter. The range differs from model to model.
SEALED AND NOISE CANCELLING
These headphones reduce the surrounding and ambient noise. There are actually two types of noise cancelling headphones. One is that active type which works through the use of a microphone and electric circuitry. The other type is called the passive type and it cancels out noises by sealing or fitting the headphone against the ear in a way that actually eliminates noises from being heard. Both types have impressive sound quality.
Once you know which type you would like and how much money can you spend, the choice of which headphone will suit your Ipod needs should be a lot clearer. Once you find that perfect Ipod Headphone you will be able to get to enjoy the device as it was meant to be enjoyed.

Grabbing The Best Ear Bud headphones In Today's Market
Ear buds have commonly been issued usually with cheap cell phones and portable CD players, MP3 plays and iPods. These tiny type headphones are usually inserted into your ear canal and some models include a clip for even better fit. One of the biggest drawbacks when they were first introduced were how they would never stay in. Companies have addressed that problem and many ear buds now perform very well. There are many advantages to ear buds, which include ultra compact, and lightweight. They also can provide excellent isolation from external noise and have good sound quality for the most part. Most people will upgrade their ear buds, but what happens if you have no idea which it tops right now. We have compiled some good choices if you're looking to take your listening pleasure to the next level. These are the cream of the crop when we talk about ear bud headphones.
Usually when one product from a company does well in the marketplace, others will follow and that is the case with Shure and the E-series line of ear buds. The E4c was a very good set of headphones and the SE530 is what we will look at today. Now I will tell you right off these very well could be the best sounding ear buds ever made which I know is a bold statement but true. The Shure SE 530 uses a thing they call Triple TruAcoustic Micro speaker that consists of two woofers and one tweeter that give you just amazing sound. Most ear buds that I have run into will fade away at certain volumes or do not handle wide types of music, but not these. The sound quality is of the concert variety and the passive noise isolation is something that you will notice right away with these.
One of the toughest things with ear bud headphones is getting a perfect fit, but the Shure SE 530 seems to conqueror that problem as well with an array of fitting so you should have no problem finding one that will work for you. Also included with these are adapters for almost and use that you may run into. These are probably the finest set of ear buds on the market and worth the asking price. These are on the high end as far as price, but for all you get a very good vale. Once you use these, you will never go to another set of ear buds ever, that is how good these sound, perform, and work.
Now if you do not want to spend a lot on a set of ear buds than the V-Moda Bass ear buds could be what you are looking for. These have many cool options and they do sound very good especially for the low end prices this retail for. Let us look at these a little closer. Now if you hate the same boring colors of ear buds than you will love these as they come in a variety of different colors to match your iPod or MP3 player. Most companies do not do that which makes V-Moda stand above the crowd in that sense. If you're a bass lover than this set of ear buds is where you need to be. Bass quality here is some of the best around and you will definitely hear it from low range to high range with these. Overall, the sound quality is excellent and they fit into the ear canal very well and block out noise as well. Over all if you do not want to spend a lot of money than this is the set you need.
With many heavy bass ear bud headphones somewhere down the line, they fail on different genres of music. This one never seems to which something that I really like about them is. They feel at home with country, jazz, pop, and rap music as well. If you want studio quality sound for a low price than look no, further than these.
These are perfect upgrades for that iPod set that came from the factory and since they come in an array of colors, you will find something that suits you that is for sure. Three sizes of silicone ear buds means a perfect fit is always available it seems. The bottom line with the V-Mod is they perform very well and if you do not want to break the bank than grab a set of these and rock all night long to your favorite tunes.

I just needed something I could wear while jogging, but no earbuds stayed in, even those with the loops around the ears, so I had to resort to old-school headphones :)
