Born in Tehran, Aylar in 1984, and moved to Norway at the age of three, Lie was subjected to a turbulent homelife, and so was taken away from her parents and placed into foster care.

Even though Aylar moved from her home country of Iran at a young age, she has always felt powerful ties to her Persian roots and great love for both her 'real' parents and her foster parents.

Her father in Iran aksed her to visit Iran when she was sixteen for a holiday, and what began as a short vacation in Iran to regain lost family ties, actually developed into a terrible experience for Lie when she was forcefully kept in the middle east against her will.

Eventually she returned to Norway with a desire to find her mother, who she believed was in the U.S.

But in the U.S. she fell into a state of drug abuse, pornography and her life spiralled even further down into a state of true desperation.

After what amounted to an overdose on drugs, she eventually understood that the time had come to alter her life if she wanted to remain alive, so she returned to Norway and sought out medical care as well as the help of her loving foster parents.

After medical treatment and re-gaining her self-confidence, she decided to enter the Miss Norway (Frøken Norge) pageant in summer 2004.

With her growing success in the competition however, gossip started to spread about the mistakes of her past.

Just as she made it among the top 10 finalists, the media got hold of the proof of her participation in adult entertainment which led to her being disqualified.

In the summer of 2006 she made a cover song of the popular pop tune of the 1980's called “Boys Boys Boys” and it became an enormous hit for Aylar.

At the present time Aylar is one of the most popular figures in Norwegian media. She is working on various projects including an autobiography which should be interesting considering the ups and downs of her life so far!
