you're now in Baghdad? Take care!
I travel through Baghdad quite a bit and it is an eary place, Checkpoints everywhere and you are not sure who is manning them, U.S. soldiers are the best, seeing them brings a feeling of calm and serenity but alot of other nations and private security is around as well. They control Baghdad International Airport my favorite of all Airports( lol )
You can smoke there and birds do live in the rafters, the toilets work sometimes and the lines are pretty long but just knowing you are leaving the country makes it all worthwhile. I am unsure about the Iraqi police and soldiers, the ones I have met were very nice but they are very poor and could be bought quite easily so keep your distance. Turks are very abundent, they are here for work like me but they get very little pay and like the police are open for buisness, Fillipinos are very trustworthy but thier numbers are dwindling due to pasport curtailment.
One thing is clear this is not Vietnam
It is a world war between those who believe in the teachings of a certain book and the rest of us who they have pledged to exterminate at any cost.
I will not go quitly into the night nor will I ever bow to the pressues of those who think they do Gods bidding and kill in his or her name. My God is a kind and forgiving God and would NEVER want
inocents harmed simply because they have a different belief.
It was the summer of 2005 The war in Iraq was really heating up and being used by Liberals as cannon fodder and they used every soldiers death to further their political endgame. The thing was they could give a rats @## about our soldiers, the edge in voter manipulation would more than make up for selling their souls. And make no doubt they have truly gone off the edge.For some reason they hate George w Bush with a passion, it stems from the 2000 election that was so close and they could not let it go, as days and weeks passed the endless recounting and redefining of what is a legal vote, the whole hanging chad circus made me sick, When they took the case to Tallahassee and that Democratic judge I thought it was over but he was actually fair, That guy should have gotten a medal for his non-biased common sense handling of a media circus. I have the feeling that his career ended that day, you don't disobey The Hitler fringe and survive but lets face it W won and every recount since backs that fact up. Their radical fringe declared war that day just like Osama did when Clinton went and bombed the baby formula factory the night before the impeachment hearing. The Dems were really concerned about WMD when Clinton went up for gross misuse of a cigar (well actually it was for lying under oath and found guilty) I say to them, let go of your hate and embrace America, not the crack junkie and gang banger America but God fearing apple pie eating America.We are all Americans, Black, White or anyone in between, To coin a classic phrase "can't we all just get along" The bad guys will come to our homeland it's only a question of when. The left has already set in motion the unstoppable calamity that awaits many innocent civilians, We should all pray for them and for the madness to end. I pray every night for the safety of all innocents at home and abroad I truly hope my prayers are answered.
You are such a kind person why would you want to be in a nasty place like Iraq
I am here for 2 reasons and thier priorities have changed over the last year. 1. I am here to suport our brave men and women of the armed forces. 2. I am earning a good salary to better my life as well. I hope that answers your question and thank you for your suport.

US commercial airliners, the identical model as was destroyed
In the 9-11 attack. People love to bash the President and just
About anything he says is taken as misinformation. I hear the
News media say all the time that this was a surprise attack and
The President should have known. I knew it was coming, we all
Did, we just turned a blind eye to the events (20years worth)
That preceded that tragic day. I saw the endless hearings predicting
an attack and the numerous attacks overseas but I still did
nothing and I am sorry for that. I decided to take a stand, to do
something that would make at least a contribution to the cause.
So as my friends sit at home getting high and making love I am
Here in Iraq, the ass of the world just struggling to make it through.
