Well, if you saw the season premiere of NCIS this month you have already realized that answer to the question, "Is Cote de Pablo pregnant?"
In case you have not seen it, No, Cote de Pablo does not appear to be pregnant.
While she may have gotten pregnant recently, it seems very plain that she was not pregnant when the filmed last season's finale. While this may be disappointing for some, I don't see it as bad either way. It is just a statement of fact - she is not pregnant.
What is really interesting is the number of people that thought that it was very likely that she was with child. 35% of all respondents in this hubs survey thought that it was "very likely" that she was embarazada. Interesting indeed.

Is Cote de Pablo (Ziva David) pregnant?
I know that is the question I am asking myself after watching the last episode of NCIS - Aliyah. My wife was the first one to spot it about 17 minutes into the episode when she walks into her father's office. As you can see from the picture to the right, her shirt is hanging a loosely in front of her.
Is this a sign that Cote de Pablo, who plays Ziva, is pregnant in real life?
To be honest - I don't know, and if you are looking for definitive information on the topic I certainly don't have any. But it does seem interesting. It is certainly not unheard of for female characters to get "reassigned" or change roles when they are pregnant.

Mariska Hargitay, Law and Order: SVU, and Pregnancy
When Mariska Hargitay (who played Olivia Benson) was pregnant on LO: SVU she wore lots of baggy clothes or was in scenes where her belly was not show very much. She still performed in some stunts, but not very many and they were definitely not as grueling as some of the things she performed when she was not pregnant.
Is this the same pattern that we see with Cote de Pablo in this NCIS episode?
She is certainly wearing looser fitting clothes and there are not very many scenes where her belly is exposed.
There is one scene where Ziva and Tony get into a fight - with Ziva knocking Tony to the ground. This isn't that huge of a stunt, but it certainly isn't a small one either. So maybe the stunt is some proof that Cote de Pablo isn't pregnant.

I think that by examining the following recent photos of Cote de Pablo we will find that she is not pregnant - at least not pregnant enough to be showing.
Maybe She Is Not Pregnant
As you can see from these pictures, it looks like that she probably isn't pregnant. But that makes me wonder all the more what they are going to be doing with her character in the next season of NCIS. Why is she seperated from the NCIS team?
Was it all a plot by her father to get her to return to Israel and the Massad because he thought she was losing her loyalty to Israel? I mean, her father is a pretty messed up dude to send his daughter, Ziva, to go kill her half brother, Ari. What type of father is going to do that? The same type of father that would use a Massad agent named Michael Rivkin to seduce his daughter and then use him to encite Tony DiNozzo into a brawl - forcing Ziva to pick between the two. The plan went a little too far when Rivkin was killed by DiNozzo, but that wasn't Ziva's father's intention. It was colateral damage.
That is the only reasonable explanation that I can think of for Ziva to be seperated from the team if Cote de Pablo is not pregnant, as the photos above seem to indicate. I'm sure there are other possible explanations for this, I just can't think of any of them right now.
The Most Recent Public Appearance of Cote de Pablo
Here we have Cote de Pablo on March 13. She is sitting the whole time, but it is an interesting conversation between Michael Weatherly (Tony DiNozzo) and Cote de Pablo (Ziva David). You can't really tell if Cote de Pablo is embarazada - that's spanish for pregnant!

Thanks for the heads up about the episode of ET, I've added it to the page so that everyone can watch it too. It is a pretty good interview/exchange between Weatherly and de Pablo. Really fun to watch.
And you are right - it would be a great time for her if she really was pregnant. If she were in the early stages of the pregnancy she should have some time to begin to really show and then have the baby - with plenty of time to "recover" both off camera and in the story line of the show. She'd probably be back near the end of Season 7 if this turns out to be true.
Oh.. yes.. CBS Watch Magazine. That one is recent, but I meant *more* recent (lol) that would be the one she did for TV Guide Magazine with Michael.

Putting the photoshoot in the beginning of April (since she said they just got the script for Aliyah, and Rocky said in his blog they started filming it in April 6th so..)
Also, on the video is not clear, sometimes it suggests she's not and sometime you can't say. LOL!
Said the same thing to my daughter as we watched the last episode, her body language, puffy face, as fast as it came on she looks like she's pregnant, same as Dr. Brennan (Bones) from Bones, they suddenly put in that Dr. Brennan wants to have kids, and the last couple eps she is getting bigger boobs, puffy face, all the body language that she is preggers... maybe they threw it in so when they start filming the next season it might have her further on... as far a Ziva, seems odd that now have her not with everyone else, like if she was pregnant, by the time she has her baby and they get back to filming for next season, they have an excuse to have her not really in the first 4 or 5 eps, or at least sitting down where you can't tell anything... like maybe they don't want her charactor to be with child so they are trying to be clever and hide it... but Ziva and Bones, both look like they are with child, can't wait 'till next season to see what happens, nothing on TV now until Burn Notice comes back...

Interesting idea. All of those dresses could conceal a pregnancy for 3-5 months, especially in a woman of her build. Watch the chest! Pregnancy usually shows itself there first.
basically i watched the most recent episodes and it's pretty obvious she's pregnant. there's no reason for the loose clothing and blocked belly shots otherwise. i mean, she's skinny so normally she wears tight outfits, no reason for the loose ones. she's also got a fatter face, which can't be blocked by a folded jacket, etc. and she's totally gonna be on maternity leave for the beginning of next season....the real question is who's the daddy? is she married? and if there's no baby in like 5 months i'll be wondering who she must have given it too, lol
I said to my husband a few episodes ago that she looked pregnant, fuller face, loose fitting tops, which she never wore before, no belly showing also, no big stunts, which is also unusual; and then the last episode when she was bleeding sitting in the chair her face looked really, really full and the fact that she is now away from the team, and that is the way it will be for a while when the new season starts... unless she just gained weight... it will be interesting to see what's up. You can't tell from the pictures posted either, they are all loose fitting, nothing fitted, the way you cover a belly. Also I hope with the beginning of the new NCIS: Los Angeles nothing happens to the original.

I wonder if anyone has thought of any good reasons that she wouldn't be pregnant? I mean I don't think she is married and I don't even know if she is seeing anyone - which means that if she isn't any of these it would be really hard to get pregnant!

Wow, I normally notice this stuff and this one got past me. You're probably right though that she's pregnant. I was so shocked by the ending, and this would give it the perfect excuse until she comes back.
The same with Bones, I did notice that her boobs and face were a little fuller on the last couple of episodes. I knew she had a boyfriend for a few years, but read nothing on Cote. Big fan of both shows and all the celebrity news shows.
But it does go to show you that if you want a somewhat private life as a celebrity you can have it. Unlike some of these morons who keep going to the Ivy and Melrose to be seen and cause chaos.

Or maybe she just gained a little weight?!?! God forbid! As for the last scene of season 6, ever heard of a killer make-up department?!?! Wardrobe departments have been known to change the style of dress that a character wears due to the development of said character. Abby is a good example of that. She's worn more pants lately than skirts. Does that mean she's pregnant? Just enjoy the show and the character!

That is a certainly an option. She could just be gaining weight and not actually be pregnant. The change in clothes could be just a changing of her character and the "lack of stunts" could just be a coincidence, with the NCIS writters just wanting the focus to be on the love triangle thing going on.
But from the progress of the poll it seems like the vast majority of people seem to think that she is possibly pregnant. While it isn't scientific or even that important what a lot of people think - it does go to show you that there is certainly something about the way that she has been looking over the past several episodes that could be sign that she is pregnant.
So you are right, she could be just be gaining weight - but she could also be pregnant.
I dunno if Cote's pregnant or not but in the photoshot with Michael Weatherly (for TV Guide), there are a few behind-the-scenes shots of her holding her belly... Maybe that's a sign...

OMG.... I don't think she looks pregnant at all. She's gorgeous and always looks great. Not to mention she's a wicked actress. So, she wears a baggy shirt in season 6 and the rumour mill starts! And if she is pregnant, then congrats Cote. Tons of women wear loose, flowing clothes, does that mean you automatically assume they must be expecting too?
I dont think that she is pregnant cause she is to skinny to be showing for pregnancy and if she was you would hear about it quickly from some one or see it on the internet so again i dont think that she is pregnant
I think she might be i mean in toxic was where it all began and cote said that she works out fights and eats healthy so gaining weight for her seems a little hard for her unless she is pregnant and the end of aliyah may have saved them the big media issue that would brew if she came back and looks even more pregnant so i think that she could be pregnant with diego serranos child thats the only guy i heard she was dating we will see in season 7 that airs on sept 22

I just found this pic online of Cote and Pauley taken Aug 3/09. I guess this should quell the pregnancy rumours... she sure doesn't look pregnant here.. unless, of course, she's already given birth!!! You can "hide" a pregnancy fairly easy until you're about 5-6 months(lets say she was this far along in April) and that would mean she gave birth in July... not much time to get back to "Ziva" condition but it's possible. im not saying that the actress Cote de Pablo is not pregnant but i think ide have to agree with Molly in the seance that it may be that Ziva is sopose to be pragnant not Cote de Pablo cause more then likely the way things r today if she was it whould leak out in some way.
In regards to the coment about Cote de Pablo holding her stumic int he t.v. intervie back stage then it could just be that she finds having her hand there comfertable and not that she herself is pregnant. For Example i know lots of ppl who find having there hands folden across ther chest comfy does that mean they r angery. i know others who keep there hads on there hips most of the time when standing like Peter Pan ddi does that make them him or related to him or what not. Ppl Can Question Anything but dont get me wrong im not saying my coment does not make Cote de Pablo Pregnant im just saying that there r other posabilities. after all Anything is Posible. Something else to think about is there is a photo of Cote de Pablo from The HFPA Salute To Young Hollywood Party held at Nobu on December 17, 2008 in Los Angeles, California. and in the pic she is wearing a verry loos dress does that mean she was pregnant then no it just means she wanted to and/or chose to. if u want to see the pic its number 14 of 51 on the like that Donna pute up earlyer ill resend the lik so ppl have it.

from many episodes at the end of last season and even the first two episodes of this season, i STILL am left thinking that cote de pablo is pregnant. the signs are more in her face than her stomach, although if you really examine the episodes and even recent still photographs, you can se they at least seem to be hiding her stomach. most of the episodes are neck/chest up (and any "stunts" could certainly be so coordinated that they are not a danger to her) and the pictures above are either of her arching her back (a pose causing her to stick her stomach out and thus conceal a small bump), in a profile shot hiding her tummy, or in a black empire dress, a color and style which easily conceal a baby bump.
I think that Cote de Pablo maybe pregnant but she comes back in the first episode of season 7 and is a NCIS agent in episode 3 of season 7

The photo of her wearing the purple/fuscia dress, is not recent. So you can't use that as a reference.The rest of the photos, I'm not sure if they're recent too.
Her latest public appearance was broadcast on May 12th on the ET set with Michael Weatherly (after they filmed *that* episode in mid April) she was sitting the whole time, and wearing a short but loose dress. ;)
So it's very ambiguos, we cannot say she is, but can't rule out that she isn't. It's very suspicious. LOL! I've got to say, that the time is right, if she IS, how many months do you think she have as of Aliyah (mid April)? Filming S7 won't start until sometime in July, the first eps where she'll be missing.. so it's convient for her and the production.
