For the past years, science fiction and real science have wondered if we can go beyond the speed  of light. Einstein's ideas have been pretty busy with such issue for the past years and have mostly been the base of some major research. 

BUT!!!

None of such faster than speed of light travel have been proven effective. We are still left with the question how? and why?.    yes we have the tools on making it happen but the question is. Are these tools effective?

the most popular of all is the warp drive and the bending of space. these are all using the theory that einstein have discovered that time and space can be bent. so far no one has ever suceeding in bending these in a usefull way. Doing it requires alot of money and energy and is always resulting only in a very small and unusefull output.

    BUT EVEN IF THEY SUCCEED

Space bending will not be usefull in propulsion at all. For starter if you bend space and shrink it, everything that is inside of that space will be shrunk! and I mean EVERYTHING! including those that will travel inside that shrunked space. Here is an example of what i am talking about

lets assume that there is point A and point B. There is a distance between those 2 points of about 10 meters (10 meters because its better to imagine) and it takes you 2 steps per meter and 10 seconds to pass from point A to point B.

If you shrunk the distance from point A and B half its original size, will it take you 5 seconds to get from one point to the other?        

The answer is NO     why? 

since we have shrunk the space between A and B, that means everything between the two points has tobe shrunk including the one that will walk on it. Simply the 2 steps per meter will reamin the same 2 steps per meter after you have shrunk the distance.

The easiest way for a person who is not aware of space bending is by this example.

Lets say we have a square cloth that has a length and width of 1 meter on all sides, this will be our representative of space. Then place 2 points on the cloth and measure it. No matter how you bend or squish the cloth (space), the distance will still be the same because we are unable to move the points on its location in the cloth (space) its self.

you might think that if you can make the 2 points closer to each other  by bending the cloth so that the distance regardless of the cloth (space). But that is wrong! in that case you will be measuring outside the dimesions of the cloth (space) . . . . you can't go out of the dimesions of the cloth because in real life  THERE IS NO OTHER SPACE  THAN SPACE unless you are in the other dimension and you are bending space like a piece of paper. EXAMPLE The cloth is the space, and the place(or table) where you are bending the cloth is the other dimension. its like a 2d vs 3d   can you see the idea?

The place where you can go and be unaffected by the bending of space is still impossible to be discovered because such thing do not actually exist in this universe. 

So my conclusion is that it is totally impossible to create those things like warp drive and space bending. 

I am now working on designing  inertia wheel and the space and travel thing came into my mind and i imidiately  put it here in HUBPAGES. It uses no friction and can move something without touching anything like the carwheels that we use today that uses traction to be able to move the car. If it will be succesfull it can be used to make aircrafts fly even without air . well atleast that is my goal. :-)
