Is Network Marketing REALLY Dead???

I came across an interesting read a few days ago and thought I'd share it with all of you.

It was an ebook report titled "The Death of Network Marketing"by Ellie Drake and Mike Filsaime.

For those of you who don't know anything about the authors; Ellie Drake is a successful Network Marketer and Mike Filsaime is a well-known Internet Marketing guru.

I found the report to be quite eye-opening, especially for the fact that some of my current ventures involve Network Marketing.

If any of you out there have been involved in any type of network marketing over the last few years, this report will definitely be the wake-up call you need!

As of recent, the largest problem that network marketers have been facing with their businesses is the heavy increase of attrition.

On a daily basis, distributors are simply jumping ship for opportunities that seemingly offer greener pastures.

Sadly, those that jump on the bandwagon of new and exciting network marketing opportunities will never find satisfaction and success in their businesses if they stick with methods that are now deemed as outdated or 'old school'.

We have since entered into a new age of technology from which 'forward thinking' individuals in this business will prosper from learning the new tech savvy tools that can be strategically used for their own benefit.

Overall, the industry of Network Marketing is in store for a big shift thanks to the Internet and the rise of Web 2.0 Marketing which has also been coined as NetWeb Marketing.

If you'd like to get a better a better understanding on this new revolution and what I think about it, please check out "What the heck? You're telling me Network Marketing is DEAD?!"

Yes it really is. No one cares for it anymore. Most tricks are dying out.

Thanks kindly for your comment Rudra, but I must beg to differ on your statement about no one caring anymore.

With endorsements of Network Marketing from such notables as Robert Kiyosaki and Donald Trump, I truly believe the practice of Network Marketing isn't something to take lightly when a lot of independent MLM business owners out there would definitely be concerned about their survival.

After all, why would an MLM business owner simply turn over and die with the methods that are now being 'considered' dead?... especially if their financial success and livelihoods were being impacted!

To add, with the statistics of approximately 95% of all MLM distributorships failing within it's first 90 days; I would only find it prudent to inform fellow network marketers of the obvious results occurring due to such old practices that don't work in this day and age.

By introducing this new NetWeb Marketing concept along with the methodologies behind it, I feel that such information can only help benefit those out there who seem to have fallen under the the pitfalls encountered with MLM attrition, loss of funds needed to support their own business and the overall disappointment of rejection.

Just my two cents... :)

Hahaha!!! Kudos!

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. :)

No harm, no foul.

But may I ask what you personally feel is still 'alive' within the industry?

Or do you simply find it growing extinct in its entirety?

BTW, synchronized swimming isn't all that bad to watch... you just have to get used to those nose plugs temporarily distorting such beautiful faces. :)

I'm with you nrittes. There are challenges in the industry but...where isn't there struggle.

Jim Rohn said that just as certain as the seasons come, there will always be difficulties mixed with opportunity. And just because you aren't involved with network marketing doesn't mean you will be exempt from this LAW.

Individuals will go on making barrels of money with network marketing......no doubt about it.

I am not sure there ever was anything alive in the industry as you describe it. MLM has only really ever worked for the guys at the top of the pyramid. I kno people who tried Amway and other "offline" marketing systems and never met a really successful one.

There is something to be said for networking and I believe that's what Trump was referring to, but if you have nothing new to offer...

I guess the hubpages referral system is as close to a genuine netwroking system that will work, because it doesn't rely on selling something to the guy down the line.:)

And I just can't get to grips with synchronized swimming as a sport. maybe I'm just old.
