When we ask the question "should I invest in todays real estate market?" Be very careful who you ask! A lot of people got in when all you needed was a social security number and 2 pay stubs. Now everyone has to pay Taxes but you do have a choice on how much. When we pay someone elses mortgage we get to pay more Taxes. What a concept. So now we have 75%-80% of my earnings after taxes if we're lucky. Now our first and most important debit is our shelter. This is a choice we often mess up for a variety of reasons.  For some reason a lot of us choose to pay rent. Just open the window and toss whatever you pay in rent out. If we did the few extra things homeowners do we are rewarded with a tax shelter. Yes you take home 15%-20% more of your hard earned cash if you Own VS Rent.

With that in mind if we had a chance to get in the real estate arena is NOW a good time? Never better, if you are old enough to consider buying a home, you will probably never in this lifetime see a better time. Never has interest rates and home prices been this low at the SAME TIME.
