Is there a way to take my movies and put them on my iPhone? The answer is yes. I asked myself this question once and went on a google quest to search for information. Therefore, here I will be sharing with you the steps on how to do it.

In order to transfer movies to iPhone, there are a few things to prepare before you start:

  1. You need the USB cable that comes with your iPhone.
  2. You will also need iTunes version 7 or later in order to transfer video.
  3. Last but not least, your videos must be in iPhone compatible format (MP4 format).

Before looking at video encoding, let’s cover how you transfer videos to iPhone first. Launch iTunes and to go File >> Add file to library. Select the video file to be transferred. When it is in iTunes video folder, drag it onto your iPhone icon. Finally, do a sync. This should do it.

Is there a way to take my movies and put them on my iPhone if they are not in MP4 format?

You will need to do video conversion. For tips on how to covert videos, check out this article on how do I convert my videos for my iPod. Although the article is written for iPod, the steps are similar for iPhone as well.

Is there a way to take my movies and put them on my iPhone if my movies are in DVD format?

If you want to transfer DVD videos to iPhone, you can use the DVDFab which is an easy to use and powerful tool that I personally use. You need the mobile option to extract DVD for iPhone.

Now you will never have to ask “Is there a way to take my movies and put them on my iPhone?” anymore. If you looking for movies, music, software and games for iPhone, read this review on iPhone downloads sites. Also, check out another interesting article on unlimited iPhone downloads.
