Google has come a long way since its inception.  The company that has successfully managed to make its name a verb, continues to build by leaps and bounds with its online acquisitions.  You can log onto YouTube by using your Google login account if you own one.  Why?  Google purchased YouTube. 

Google has the GPS technology to track where your friends are calling you from. Is this truly Google Earth where Google technology can track and locate where you live on the Google Map?  If you own a business, more often than not, Goggle can locate your business on the Google Map.

Now Google has made its way once again to the pages of Business Week publication.Google is constantly coming up with new ways of increasing its internet presence.  The search engine king has launched a venture fund for startups in everything from consumer internet to clean technolgoy and health care.  The name of the new Google outreach business is called Google Ventures. 

Google ventures will pick companies based on its assessment of  a successful return.  The Google Venture initiative does not concern itself with the cohesiveness of the startups and ongoing operations.  Google Venture is only interested in the potential of financial return of each new business.

How much will  this new Google venture have on its return in investment?  How does a cool $100 million sound?  There is nothing small going on when Google steps into the picture.  Guess what?  The $100  million is expected to be made during the first year of operating Google venture. 

Google as a ongoing enterprising conglomerate is not stopping with Google Ventures.  Google also expects to open a  music download site not in the United States but of all places, China.  It is not called Google China, however, it will allow users to download licensed music for free from more than 140 labels.  The dominate search engine according to Business week in China is Baidu of which Google completes with globally.

  Google Venture is the next big thing with Google and there seems to be no stopping the Search Engine Giant.
