Contrary to popular belief, your skin's present appearance and condition no matter how bad, is not an irreversible trait and it is not a result of genetics alone. Centuries of different dietary practices and cultural traditions have contributed to the diversity of skin textures, colors, and tone that we see in our world today.
Skin lightening is less drastic than skin bleaching, but the overall result for both, is skin whitening. Basically all three really mean the same thing.
Skin lightening has raised a few eyebrows and receives more criticism than skin tanning in western countries. Bronzed whites will turn less heads than a fair-skinned woman in African and Asian countries. Why? It's a case of simple cultural preference.
We are not here to tell persons of a darker hue not to lighten their skin just as we would not tell Caucasian persons not to tan because of the threat of skin cancer. We are however, here to promote healthy, clean and clear complexion without the use of dangerous chemicals like hydroquinone, steroids, mercury or other harsh substances.
The reasons may be many but the main objectives behind making any type of change to ones skin or complexion is usually about the same. Do you understand what this means?
That any skin (or hair) care regimen B whether skin tanning, skin bleaching, hair dyeing or conditioning, anti-acne, anti-aging, even a manicure are all inclined towards achieving the same goals, that of better self esteem, to correct a problem, as well as overall aesthetic beauty.
Skin Condition Affects Your Confidence
Many of us have battles with age spots, freckles, dark acne scars, dark neck, dark arms or legs and uneven skin tone for so many years, skipping from one skin bleaching treatment to another without much success.
To look in the mirror and not see much improvement or see the condition of your skin becoming even worse can become just as bad a blow to one's self esteem.
You may also be suffering from other hyper pigmentation problems too, such as various forms of acne, psoriasis, eczema and melasma, dark underarms, dark elbows, dark butt, dark knees or inner thighs? Not only that, your old light skin color has tanned over the years and you want it back?
Wouldn't you love to wear clothing that shows off beautiful shoulders, arms and legs for a change, or get into your favorite bikini during summer?
No One Can Judge You
As has been said, many persons suffer from a myriad of skin conditions. Some of you may have even tried to solve the problems with your skin by using hydroquinone and other dangerous chemical lased products, to no avail. Don't give up! There is still hope.
Each of us has his/her own needs and wants. No one can judge you for wanting to see an improved more confident version of yourself.
