I was compelled to ask because....

That’s the impression I gained from a message which landed in my inbox the other day.  I'm quite appalled that these worn out myths are still being used to promote tired old products, by inexperienced or very foolish marketers.  In my more than twenty years of doing business I have learned that there are just two secrets for how to promote and run a successful premium business opportunity.   The only reason they are secrets is that no one wants’ to hear them.

You wonder what they are?  They are Experience and Hard Work.  You get the first by doing the latter.  Any shortcuts to those two secrets, depends on who you can get to help you learn the tasks and the right tools and how much it’s going to cost you.  You will not get a profitable premium business enterprise on anybody’s promises.  Chances are that you’ll find yourself the owner of an expensive product which you have to advertise at your cost, largely for the benefit of someone else.

To avoid these traps you have to educate yourself on what’s required to become successful.  Unless you’re lucky, this can get expensive.  One of the things you’ll learn from your study is that you’ll need some tools.  This too can get costly unless you know where to go.  Finally you’ll face the real test; will your product sell? That’s the difference between success and failure.

Whatever the product, it’s your job to promote and sell it and advertising can get very expensive.  So before you rush out and buy a Product, pause for a moment and consider this, if you let your heart rule your decision rather than your head, you are far less likely to succeed.  Base your decision on what most people need rather than what you want.

Don’t get caught up in the idea that your business is all about the product.  The key to a successful business is to get the sales.  It is not necessary to buy a product to have something to sell.  There are thousands of affiliate programs that you can sign up to and they’ll pay YOU.

Whether you spend your money on a product, or not, the product you’ll get, even if you judge it to be the greatest, will not sell itself.  Your success or failure will always depend entirely on your ability to sell ….any product.  That’s a true secret no one ever tells you about.  If you don’t have a marketing plan in place and a way to advertise which is within your budget, you are guaranteed to fail.

It takes time to create a successful business. You won’t be checking into the office  a couple of hours a day, reading a few emails and posting a couple of ads.  You will find yourself fully occupied, with never enough time to spare, that is, if you plan to succeed.  In the real world you would expect to pay some set up costs.  Well the internet is also real and here, no successful business is going to run for free.

How much you spend depends on how good you are at telling the difference between a non product and what you might call the real thing.  Believe me; it's not as easy as you may think.  There's not an internet marketer who hasn't bought some recycled, useless rubbish at least once. Many have done so repeatedly on the promise of unlimited wealth.
