They're all the rage across America.  Everywhere you go cell phone users are talking to themselves and leaving others to wonder if they have an imaginary friend or mental disorder.  As they walk by, we figure out that they're using a Bluetooth headset and having a conversation with a loved one, a business partner or a friend.  We feel a little bit foolish for thinking otherwise and then wonder just when did bluetooth take over the world.

Wireless has taken over every aspect of technology. From computers to PDAs and now cell phones have followed suit. Bluetooth technology is made to make your cell phone user easier, and if you are a frequent cell phone user, a bluetooth headset might be the perfect way to take your personal calls during a brisk walk or a business call as you are walking into the office one morning. Bluetooth makes it easier for you to talk on the phone and multitask

Bluetooth headsets have been the rage. But are they really a necessary accessory for your cell phone? It all depends on your needs. For me, it was an easy choice. I do a lot of walking, and I hate having to hold my phone to my ear for long periods of time. Buying a headset was a way to stop my hand from cramping, and it was convenient. That was the point for me, but for others, they may want to multitask, they may not want to carry their phone in their hand all the time or they may just want to follow the crowd.

If using a bluetooth headset will make your life easier, dive right in and find one to go with your phone.  You can find a headset within your price range as easily as finding a cell phone nowadays.  Talk to your provider and see what will work with your particular phone, and find something to match your style.  You will be more than happy with the result.
