Is it global warming or just climate change?
46First of all, I think that global warming is climate change in that the climate is simply changing to a state where the planet is warmer on average.
I think your real question should be is the apparent warming trend that we are viewing a part of a natural cycle that the climate goes through over the eons or is this a deviation from the norm that is the result of our increasing use of carbon fuels?
Personally, I think that this is a natural and not a man-made change. The world is becoming warmer just as it did after the last ice age. If I remember my science correctly there was more than one ice age and back in the age of the dinosaurs the world was warmer than it is now. So I think that what we are observing now is a natural change in the climate cycle. Also, given that there have been major changes such as the ice age and minor changes such as the cooling cycle that began about 1,000 years, this could be no more than the climate warming back up to what it was 1,000 years ago when the French used to import wine from the British rather than vice versa.

whether the changes in our climate is caused by made made activities or just plainly a natural cycle of our planet, lets take this oppurtunity to clean our acts and help one another to combat global warming, we'll if its just a natural cycle at least we benefit from it by reducing our pollution.

Hi David, Thanks for answering my request. You are right about the real question should be more specific. To cut it short the question should be " Are we responsible for global warming or it's just a natural climate change process? "
Although there is lots of information available on the web but the reason I posted this question was that I wanted feedback from other hubbers. To find out what they think about this issue. I myself agree with part of your views plus I also believe humans also contributed to global warming. Here are some interesting links for other hubbers to get more information about this issue.
